Abstract: A coding scheme determining method and apparatus are provided. In various embodiments, a base station device sends, to a terminal device, higher layer control signaling, physical layer control signaling, or a synchronization signal that carries coding scheme indication information. In some embodiments, a terminal device sends, to a base station device, a capability information report message that carries coding scheme indication information, so that the base station device or the terminal device can clearly and flexibly indicate a coding scheme. At least one information block size IBS greater than or equal to a preset first specified value X is determined, and an IBS is selected from the at least one IBS to code an information block of bits or a code block of the information block of bits. X and a coding scheme are determined by a scenario, information type, and/or service type.

Abstract: This application provides a communications method and device. The communications method includes: determining a first frequency band and a second frequency band in an operating frequency band; and transmitting a first-type frame in the first frequency band, and transmitting a second-type frame in the second frequency band, where the first-type frame is used to carry a first-type service, the second-type frame is used to carry a second-type service, and the second-type frame and the first-type frame have different frame structures. Therefore, in embodiments of the present application, different frame structures are used in different frequency bands in the operating frequency band, and different services are carried by using the different frame structures, thereby meeting transmission requirements of different types of services.

A centrally configured network element sends configuration information of a grant-free transmission unit of an access device to the access device, where the grant-free transmission unit refers to a transmission resource used for grant-free transmission, and the configuration information of the grant-free transmission unit includes at least one or more of the following information: information about the grant-free transmission unit or information about a grant-free transmission control mechanism. By using the method and the apparatus for obtaining configuration information of a grant-free transmission unit, an access device can obtain configuration information of a grant-free transmission unit.

Abstract: A sub-band scheduling method, including: sending, to a base station on a source sub-band, a first message that carries information about a data attribute requirement of to-be-transmitted data, where the information about the data attribute requirement includes at least one of the following: a transmission delay, a transmission delay type, a data bandwidth requirement, or a packet loss sensitivity; receiving, on the source sub-band, a second message that carries sub-band information of a target sub-band, where the target sub-band is a sub-band that is scheduled by the base station and that meets the data attribute requirement of the to-be-transmitted data, and the sub-band information includes at least one of the following: a sub-band number, a sub-band frequency channel number, a timing advance, an uplink resource allocated by the base station, a sub-band sending power level, or a bandwidth; and transmitting data on the target sub-band according to the sub-band information.

The method includes: sending, by a terminal device to a network device, information used to request a grant-free transmission resource; receiving, by the terminal device, resource indication information sent by the network device, where the resource indication information is used to indicate a grant-free transmission resource that is allocated by the network device to the terminal device according to the information used to request the grant-free transmission resource; and determining, by the terminal device according to the resource indication information, the transmission resource used for performing grant-free transmission. According to the uplink data transmission method, the terminal device, and the network device in embodiments of the present invention, contention-based uplink data transmission can be implemented, and data transmission efficiency of a system can be improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a contention transmission unit CTU to be used by to-be-sent uplink data, where the CTU is a transmission resource including at least a time domain resource, a frequency domain resource, and a code domain resource; encoding the to-be-sent uplink data by using N different code element groups in the code domain resource corresponding to the determined CTU, to obtain N groups of encoded data, where N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; and sending the N groups of encoded data by using the time domain and frequency domain resources that are corresponding to the determined CTU. According to the embodiments of the present invention, data reception reliability at a receive end can be improved.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a terminal, a base station, a network controller, a system, and a transmission method. The terminal includes: a receiving module, configured to receive configuration information of at least one air interface-specific path sent by a base station, where the air interface-specific path is used to transmit application data corresponding to at least one application; and a sending module, configured to: if the to-be-sent application data is discontinuously transmitted and has a length less than a preset threshold, use the at least one air interface-specific path to send the application data to the base station. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, when a terminal transmits data or signaling that is discontinuous and has a relatively small length, consumption of network signaling resources is reduced, so that a normal network service properly runs.
