    Abstract: A method for transmitting downlink data is provided. The method includes sending, by a base station, Q orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols to user equipment (UE) according to a predetermined pattern; and receiving, by the base station, a response message sent by the UE, where the response message is a message sent by the terminal device to the base station after the terminal device receives the Q OFDM symbols, the predetermined pattern is a pattern including the Q OFDM symbols in a physical resource block (PRB), Q is a positive integer that is greater than or equal to 1 and less than 12 or 14, and at least one of the Q OFDM symbols in the PRB includes a downlink control signal and downlink data.

    Abstract: A self-contained subframe configuration method includes obtaining configuration information of a self-contained subframe of a current frequency band based on a subframe transmission direction of a neighboring frequency band. The self-contained subframe includes a downlink control (DLcontrol) field, a first transmission subframe, a second transmission subframe, a guard period (GP), and an uplink control (ULcontrol) field. The first transmission subframe or the second transmission subframe of the self-contained subframe is transmitted in the same subframe transmission direction used during subframe transmission on the neighboring frequency band. Alternatively, the first transmission subframe or the second transmission subframe of the self-contained subframe is transmitted in a guard period of the neighboring frequency band.

The indication information includes information that can indicate a resource reserved by a second terminal, that is, indication information that can indicate a resource excluded by the second terminal.

The method includes a terminal that receives first configuration information and second configuration information from a first network device.
