    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for flow testing multiple zones in a single trip. In one embodiment, a method of flow testing multiple zones in a wellbore includes lowering a tool string into the wellbore. The tool string includes an inflatable packer or plug and an electric pump. The method further includes operating the pump, thereby inflating the packer or plug and isolating a first zone from one or more other zones; monitoring flow from the first zone; deflating the packer or plug; moving the tool string in the wellbore; and operating the pump, thereby inflating the packer or plug and isolating a second zone from one or more other zones; and monitoring flow from the second zone. The zones are monitored in one trip.

    摘要: A test core clamp comprising a first longitudinally split tube comprising a split portion having opposing ends and attached to a base, and a tightening device for moving the opposing ends towards each other. The tightening device comprises two brackets one affixed to each of the opposing ends and both having apertures therein. One of the bracket apertures is threaded to engage one end of a clamping bolt inserted through and rotating freely within the other bracket aperture such that rotation of the clamping bolt causes the opposing ends to close or open. According to a preferred embodiment, an insert comprising a second longitudinally split tube having a plurality of fins extending radially from its outer surface is slideably located inside of the first split tube with the fins frictionally engaging the inner surface of the first split tube such that closing and opening of the first split tube results in opening and closing of the second split tube.

Finally the portable control module includes a coupling assembly which allows it to be detachably connected to the subsystem, or to a local area network (LEN) which services the subsystem, to enable the user to apply commands to and receive information from the subsystem without being in proximity to the service module.

The cable length is adapted to extend and be coupled to a grippable means that can slide longitudinally upon manipulation within a slotted bracket mounted on the rifle stock. A second protective collar embraces the modified magnification ring and has an aperture for control cable translation. The movement of the grippable means through its line of travel via the cable effects a concurrent shifting of the zoom adjustment ring setting.

A seal is between a static surface and a rotating surface in at least one of the turbine section and air moving section. The seal includes a seal shoe which is biased at least in part by a spring force, with the spring force created by cuts formed to provide a gap to allow arms associated with the seal to provide the spring force. The movement of the shoe is along a direction having at least a component parallel to an axis of rotation of the gas turbine engine. In addition, an axially moving non-contact seal is claimed.
