    摘要: In a heated transport tank, the lower zone of the tank jacket 10 is surrounded by an outer shell 15 spaced from the jacket by socket-type projections 16 integrally formed in the shell 15. The outer shell 15, which forms a vapour flow chamber 20, extends throughout the axial length of the tank. At an intermediate location, where the tank is supported by a transverse bar 11 of a base structure via a transverse saddle 25, the socket-type projections 16 are reinforced by spacers inserted between the tank jacket 10 and the shell 15, each spacer being formed as a stack of comparatively thin annular discs. The individual discs are capable of conforming themselves to the local curvature of the tank jacket 10 and following instantaneous variations in curvature, thereby ensuring a uniform distribution of forces under all load conditions.

    摘要: A longitudinally adjustable rod coupling 1, especially for connecting rod fittings for windows, doors, or the like, in which one connecting rod has a U-shaped coupling shoe with fine teeth at the insides of its legs. The other connecting rod is equipped on two narrow sides with a complementary fine teeth which can engage in the fine teeth of the shoe. The cross-section of the connecting rod is reduced in thickness in the region of the coupling shoe and correspondingly enlarged in width. The fine teeth have their profiles extending transversely over the total width of the portion of the connecting rod, section that is reduced in thickness. The lateral wings of the said connecting rod section that is reduced in thickness, which wings project beyond the width of the normal connecting rod cross-section, are bent approximately 90.degree. to the plane of the connecting rods and form the legs of the coupling shoe.

    摘要: Medium-size containers with corner fittings (21) that are not in accordance with ISO specifications may be locked to ISO locking elements (25) of the type provided on loading areas of container transport vehicles by means of locking plates (10) movably disposed inside the hollow frame elements (11) of the containers, provided the container frame has a corresponding width. The locking plate (10) has an overall width that corresponds to the clear diagonal dimension of the frame element (11) and is provided on its outer longitudinal edge with cut-outs (12, 13) in the region of which the remaining width of the locking plate corresponds to the clear width of the frame element (11). For locking the container, the locking plate (10) is adapted to be moved so that one (16) of the webs defined by the cut-outs (12, 13) extends outwards through an edge hole (22) that may be formed in the frame element (11) and a further web (18) extends outwards through a corner opening (28) of the corner fitting (21). In this locking position the locking plate (10) is pivoted from its diagonal rest position so as to lie flat on the bottom of the frame element (11) and the cut-out (13) is in engagement about the locking member (25).

    摘要: A corner fitting is disclosed for freight containers, particularly for small and medium size containers. The corner fitting includes three mutually perpendicular side walls connected to one another to form a section of a corner of a cube having its apex pointing outwardly from a freight container when in an in-use position. Container handling openings are provided in at least one of the sidewalls and in an oblique triangular surface extending transverse to a diagonal through the corner apex. Particularly preferred embodiments of the corner fitting are formed from sheet metal blanks which are cut and bent along fold lines to form the sidewalls.
