    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message that is associated with a full duplex transmission mode. The configuration message includes at least one indicator of a resource for channel measurement, where the at least one indicator of the resource for channel measurement is associated with a plurality of resources for interference measurements that include at least one resource for self-interference measurement. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration message includes at least one indicator of a format for a sub-band report, where the format indicates that the sub-band report is to include at least one of reference signal received power, signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio, or a combination thereof. The UE may transmit, to the base station, at least one report based at least in part on the configuration message. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to selecting a physical cell identifier (PCI) that a user equipment (UE) uses to obtain a timing reference for a mobility measurement. A serving base station (BS) associated with multiple cells may select a set of these cells as candidate cells for a UE and send to the UE a set of candidate PCIs associated with those cells (e.g., one PCI for each cell). The BS may select a subset of the candidate cells to serve to the UE and indicate to the UE the corresponding subset of PCIs. The UE may select a PCI from the set of candidate PCIs (or from the subset of PCIs) to use for obtaining a timing reference for a synchronization signal block (SSB) measurement. The UE may select a PCI based on a defined rule. The UE may select a PCI based on signaling from the BS.

    Abstract: A range extension method and apparatus for highly directional beams are disclosed. In one aspect, a first network node that is suitable for supporting mmWave transmissions to a wireless device such as a UE may extend the range of at least one transmit beam to a UE by selecting a suitable repetition configuration that transmits repetition versions of an original signal. The first network node sends information about the repetition configuration to a second network node which can transmit a portion of the repetition configuration information to the UE using sub-6 GHz transmissions. The UE can configure a receive beam to receive mmWave communications from the first network node by using the portion of the repetition configuration information received from the second network node.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for determining application timing for path loss reference signals (PL RS). For example, the application timing is determined by determining an applicable time for a medium access control control element (MAC-CE) based PL RS for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and other uplink transmissions. A user equipment (UE) may receive a MAC-CE indicating a PL RS update and determine the applicable time for applying the PL RS update based on one or more conditions. The applicable time may be a period after acknowledgement of the MAC-CE or correspond to a certain measurement sample of a new PL RS a period after acknowledgement of the MAC-CE. The one or more conditions may relate to a total configured number of PL RS for the UE, whether a MAC-CE based PL RS activation feature is enabled, among others.

Then, the UE sends the uplink beam report to a base station in response to determining the occurrence of the event. A base station configures a UE for an event that triggers an uplink beam report from the UE and receives the uplink beam report from the UE based on an occurrence of the event.
