    Abstract: Techniques described herein include solutions for enabling NR sidelink (SL) communications by using radio resource control (RRC) to provide ser equipment (UEs) with grant configuration (CGs) for unidirectional and/or bidirectional SL communications. These techniques also include solutions for UEs to obtain channel occupation times (COTs) for SL communications, and procedures for sharing COTs with other UEs, and procedures for CG uplink control information (UCI) of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCH) transmissions for NR in the unlicensed spectrum (NR-U). The techniques described herein also include solutions for channel state information (CSI) feedback for CGs of SL in the unlicensed spectrum (CG-Sidelink-U). Also described herein are SL techniques for transmission power control of SL communications and clear channel assessment (CCA) procedures.

    Abstract: A wireless user equipment (UE) may employ any of various mechanisms for reporting signal quality measurements to a wireless network. The UE may impose a time delay between measurement and reporting, based on a delay parameter K. The UE may average measurements obtained at different measurement instances. The UE may employ any of various schemes for prioritizing transmission of one type of report over another, when temporal collisions occur between different types of report. The UE may employ a differential report that includes a state for indicating that a beam is not workable. The UE may employ a beam index that includes a state for indicating an invalid beam. A base station may receive a signal quality report and determine workability of a beam, e.g., by triggering a report of channel state information.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for performing sidelink communication. An example method indicates a frequency resource reservation in sidelink control information (SCI). The method includes identifying a transport block (TB) for transmission to a UE; determining a total number of sub-channels (NSL) in a resource pool for sidelink communication, a number of sub-channels (Lsub) of the TB, a first starting sub-channel index x1 of a first retransmission of the TB, and a second starting sub-channel index x2 of a second retransmission of the TB. The method includes determining a frequency resource indication value (FRIV) based on NSL, LSUB, x1, and x2, wherein the FRIV represents a result of a predetermined function of Lsub, x1, and x2 that generates a unique value for possible combinations of Lsub, x1, and x2. The FRIV is encoded in SCI and the SCI is transmitted to the UE.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for supporting multiple discontinuous reception configurations in a carrier aggregation scenario in a wireless communication system. An indication that a wireless device supports multiple discontinuous reception configurations for carrier aggregation operation may be provided by the wireless device to a cellular base station. Configuration information for carrier aggregation operation may be received by the wireless device from the cellular base station. The configuration information may include separate discontinuous reception configurations for each of multiple cell groups.
