Abstract: In an aspect, a UE obtains information (e.g., UE-specific information, etc.) associated with a set of triggering criteria for a set of neural network functions, the set of neural network functions configured to facilitate positioning measurement feature processing at the UE, the set of neural network functions being generated dynamically based on machine-learning associated with one or more historical measurement procedure, obtains positioning measurement data associated with a location of the UE, and determines a positioning estimate for the UE based at least in part upon the positioning measurement data and at least one neural network function from the set of neural network functions that is triggered by at least one triggering criterion from the set of triggering criteria.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication of an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. In one aspect, the apparatus may receive, from a base station, at least one SSB. The apparatus may also determine a RSRP of the at least one SSB. Additionally, the apparatus may transmit, to the base station if the RSRP of all of the at least one SSB is less than a threshold, an indication of a reduced UE capability of the UE during a RACH procedure. The apparatus may also transmit, to the base station if the RSRP of one of the at least one SSB is greater than or equal to the threshold, the indication of the reduced UE capability of the UE after entering into a RRC connected state upon completion of the RACH procedure.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration that indicates a maximum number of SRS ports and whether the UE is permitted to determine an actual number of SRS ports to be used for SRS transmission that is different from the maximum number of SRS ports. The UE may determine the actual number of SRS ports to be used for SRS transmission based at least in part on the SRS configuration. The UE may transmit one or more SRSs using the actual number of SRS ports. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein enable transmission of an uplink control channel in a cross-carrier fashion, where determination of a slot for the transmission is performed based at least in part on a reference component carrier (CC), of a plurality of CCs. For example, the reference CC may be indicated by scheduling information associated with a downlink channel, or may be determined by the UE (e.g., based at least in part on an order associated with the plurality of CCs and availability of a slot for an uplink control channel on the plurality of CCs). In this way, ambiguity with regard to determination of the slot for transmission of the uplink control channel is reduced, thereby providing improved control channel performance, improved resource utilization, and more robust implementation of cross-carrier uplink feedback.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a wideband bandwidth part (BWP) may be used for periodic communications bursts, and a user equipment (UE) may switch to a narrowband BWP between the communications bursts, which may provide reduced power consumption and reduced processing overhead at the UE. An end of burst indicator may be provided with the wideband BWP communications that indicates a timing for switching from the wideband BWP to the narrowband BWP. The end of burst indicator may be provided prior to a last downlink shared channel communication of the communications burst, and the UE may switch to the narrowband BWP upon completion of the last downlink shared channel communication. The UE may switch from the narrowband BWP to the wideband BWP for a subsequent communications burst autonomously or based on an explicit indication.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to beam sweeping with controllable reflective surfaces in the presence of co-located base stations of different network operators. A first base station that is co-located at a site with a second base station may perform a first beam sweep. The first beam sweep includes transmitting a plurality of directional beams. The first base station further transmits a control signal to a controllable reflective surface to control the controllable reflective surface to reduce a likelihood of a redirection of a directional beam of a potential second beam sweep by the second base station towards a user equipment associated with the second base station. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to techniques for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction based on a tone reservation (TR) algorithm. For a TR algorithm, a suitable subset of tones from among a full set of tones in a given resource allocation are reserved for use as peak reduction tones (PRT). An apparatus such as a transmission/reception point receives a set of one or more PRT sequences and stores them in memory. The transmission/reception point then determines a set of PRTs based on one or more later-received PRT sequence selection parameters. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for indicating modulation order and code rate for transmissions between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. The base station may configure one or more parameter tables that provide mapping between a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index and the modulation order and code rate. The one or more tables may be explicitly indicated in configuration signaling, may be configured based on a frequency range for communications or a reference signal configuration, or any combinations thereof. The base station may transmit control information to the UE that indicates the MCS index value and that indicates a first table of multiple configured tables is to be used to determine the modulation order and code rate.

The null resource element pattern may be indicated in the DCI using: a value of an antenna port field that also indicates one or more demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports for the UE and a number of DMRS code-division multiplexing groups without data, or one or more zero power downlink reference signals. The UE may perform one or more demodulation interference measurements based at least in part on the null resource element pattern. The UE may demodulate a downlink communication based at least in part on performing the one or more demodulation interference measurements. Numerous other aspects are provided.
