摘要: An apparatus and method are described for performing an early depth test on graphics data. For example, one embodiment of a graphics processing apparatus comprises: early depth test circuitry to perform an early depth test on blocks of pixels to determine whether all pixels in the block of pixels can be resolved by the early depth test; a plurality of execution circuits to execute pixel shading operations on the blocks of pixels; and a scheduler circuit to schedule the blocks of pixels for the pixel shading operations, the scheduler circuit to prioritize the blocks of pixels in accordance with the determination as to whether all pixels in the block of pixels can be resolved by the early depth test.

摘要: Various embodiments describe systems and processes for generating AR/VR content. In one aspect, a method for generating a three-dimensional (3D) projection of an object is provided. A sequence of images along a camera translation may be obtained using a single lens camera. Each image contains at least a portion of overlapping subject matter, which includes the object. The object is semantically segmented from the sequence of images using a trained neural network to form a sequence of segmented object images, which are then refined using fine-grained segmentation. On-the-fly interpolation parameters are computed and stereoscopic pairs are generated for points along the camera translation from the refined sequence of segmented object images for displaying the object as a 3D projection in a virtual reality or augmented reality environment. Segmented image indices are then mapped to a rotation range for display in the virtual reality or augmented reality environment.

摘要: Systems and methods for replacing a 2D image with an equivalent 3D image within a web page. Content of a 2D image displayed within a web page may be identified and 3D images may be identified as possible replacements of the 2D image. The 3D images may be ranked based on sets of ranking criteria. A 3D image with a highest-ranking value may be selected based on a ranking of the 3D images. The selected 3D image may be integrated into the web page, thereby replacing the 2D image with the selected 3D image. Further, a user input manipulating the 3D image within the web page may be received. The user input may include movement of a view point of a user relative to a display displaying the web page and/or detection of a beam projected from an end of a user input device intersecting with the 3D image.

The processor is configured to dually synchronize raw IMU Data and android connected IMU data with the camera feed data providing a seamless display of 3D content of the augmented reality applications.

摘要: The general field of the invention is that of monochromatic stereoscopic image projectors including two light sources that illuminate two imagers, the radiation of the two light sources having a spectral distribution centred on a central wavelength, the first imager and the second imager being connected to a generator of stereoscopic image pairs. The image projector includes a dichroic separating filter that transmits the portion of the spectrum below the central wavelength and that reflects the portion of the spectrum above this central wavelength. The first light source and the second light source are arranged symmetrically on either side of the dichroic separating filter. The image projector operates cyclically, each cycle including two alternations. Each alternation consists in changing the emission source and in switching to the two displays the left and right images emitted by the generator of image pairs.

摘要: A system for reconstructing a three-dimensional (3D) model of a scene including a point cloud having points identified by 3D coordinates includes at least one sensor to acquire a set of images of the scene from different poses defining viewpoints of the images and a memory to store the set of images and the 3D model of the scene. The system also includes a processor operatively connected to the memory and coupled with stored instructions to transform the images from the set of images to produce a set of virtual images of the scene viewed from virtual viewpoints; compare at least some features from the images and the virtual images to determine the viewpoint of each image in the set of images; and update 3D coordinates of at least one point in the model of the scene to match coordinates of intersections of ray back-projections from pixels of at least two images corresponding to the point according to the viewpoints of the two images.
