摘要: A lens barrel is a lens barrel that can be mounted to a camera body, including a lens element, a lens support frame, an actuator, and an electrical contact. The lens support frame supports the lens element. The actuator is arranged to drive the lens support frame in an optical direction of the lens element, and includes a drive shaft and a detector configured to detect rotation of the drive shaft. The electrical contact is disposed on the opposite side from the actuator with respect to the lens element when viewed in the optical axis direction parallel to the optical axis of the lens element, and is configured to be electrically connected with the camera body.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for auto-focus control of a digital camera, the method including moving a focus lens of the digital camera to a position for a longest-distance photographing, and then extracting an edge value according to a corresponding position while moving the focus lens by a preset interval in a direction toward an image sensor; estimating a form of a preset function based on the extracted edge values, and calculating a maximum value of the estimated function; calculating a difference between a maximum value of the preset function calculated at a first current position of the focus lens and a maximum value of the preset function calculated at a previous position of the focus lens; and moving the focus lens to a position corresponding to a currently-calculated maximum value of the preset function when the difference between the maximum value of the preset function calculated at the first current position of the focus lens and the maximum value of the preset function calculated at the previous position of the focus lens is less than or equal to a preset threshold value.

摘要: Autofocusing is performed in response to a weighted sum of previous blur difference depth estimates at each focus adjustment iteration. Variance is also determined across both past and present estimations providing a confidence measure on the present focus position for the given picture. Focus adjustment is repeated until the variance is sufficiently low as to indicate confidence that a proper focus has been attained. The method provides more accurate and rapid focusing than achieved by the best current depth-based techniques, such as those utilizing most recent depth estimation to determine the next lens position. In contrast to this, the present apparatus and method combines all previous depth estimation results in the autofocus process to determine the next lens position based on statistical models and confidence measure.

摘要: The method of determining a focus measure from an image includes detecting one or more edges in the image by processing the image with one or more first order edge detection kernels adapted to reject edge phasing effects. A first measure of the strength of each of the edges, and the contrast of each of the edges may be determined. The method may include normalizing the first measure of the strength of each of the edges by the contrast of each of the edges to obtain a second measure of the strength of each of the edges, and resealing the second measure of the strength of each of the edges. The method may also include selecting one or more of the edges from the image in accordance with the second measure of their strengths, and calculating the focus measure from the second measure of the strengths of the selected edges.

摘要: A lens barrel includes a drive ring having a hollow cylindrical shape and a gear by which the drive ring is configured to rotate around an optical axis, and a lens holder configured to move in an optical axis direction relative to the drive ring and to hold a lens and located inside of the drive ring, the lens holder including an arm extending to outside of the drive ring. The drive ring has a notch that extends in a circumferential direction of the drive ring so that the notch cannot overlap the gear. The arm of the lens holder is configured to enter and retreat from the notch of the drive ring.
