摘要: An electronic apparatus and a method of assembling the electronic apparatus having a chassis inserted into a housing having a face parallel to the direction of insertion of the chassis in the housing provided with push buttons with light guides projecting into the housing. An electronic board is mounted in the chassis so as to extend parallel to said face of the housing and is provided with switches in order to interact with the push buttons and light sources surrounded by a light-tight frame receiving the free end of the light guides. The light-tight frame has a height which decreases in a direction of separation from the chassis, and the light guides have a height which decreases in the opposite direction so as only to be in contact with one another once the chassis has been completely inserted into the housing.

摘要: A keyboard device includes a circuit board and plural key structures. Each key structure includes a keycap, a hinge element and a base. The hinge element includes a first lateral wing part, a second lateral wing part and a bendable part. The first lateral wing part is connected between the keycap and the base. The second lateral wing part is connected between the keycap and the base. The bendable part is connected between the first lateral wing part and the second lateral wing part. The bendable part is thinner than the first lateral wing part and the second lateral wing part. While the keycap is moved upwardly or downwardly relative to the base, a bending angle of the hinge element and a relative position between the first base shaft and the first receiving hole are changed.

摘要: An input system includes a first base portion and a second base portion that each include a keying surface. A base portion manipulation mechanism couples the first base portion to the second base portion. The base portion manipulation mechanism includes a moveable coupling that is configured to allow relative movement of the first base portion and the second base portion into at least one of a tented orientation and a splayed orientation. A locking mechanism provides a biasing force that causes an engagement between portions of the moveable coupling that resists relative movement of the first base portion and the second base portion absent an unlocking force, wherein the locking mechanism is responsive to the unlocking force that overcomes the biasing force to allow relative movement of the first base portion and the second base portion into the at least one of the tented orientation and the splayed orientation.

摘要: A keyboard includes a plurality of key modules. Each key module includes a baseplate, a circuit membrane disposed on the baseplate, a metal dome disposed on the circuit membrane, an elastic member disposed on the metal dome, and a keycap. The elastic member and the linkage member are configured to be a movable switch mechanism. The circuit membrane has a conductive circuit. The metal dome has an opening corresponding to the conductive circuit of the circuit membrane. A trigger portion protrudes from an underside of the elastic member. When the keycap is pressed, the trigger portion passes through the opening of the metal dome, and moves downwards to abut against the conductive circuit to induce a conducting signal. The movable switch mechanism can be made by a double injection molding method.

摘要: A keyboard apparatus includes a base plate, a plurality of lifting mechanisms mounted to the base plate, and a plurality of keycaps. The keycaps are correspondingly mounted to the lifting mechanisms and are movable up and down relative to the base plate to form a pressing stroke. Each of the keycaps has a pressing surface, an assembly surface opposite to the pressing surface, and a plurality of connectors. The connectors are disposed on the assembly surface to be connected to the lifting mechanism, and a jig engagement portion protrudes from one side of at least one of the connectors. When the keycap is to be painted, the keycap is removably fixed to a painting jig by the jig engagement portion.

摘要: Embodiments of keyboards having variations of electrically connecting keys to an internal component of an electronic device are described. Some embodiments include positioning several rows of conductive layers below several rows of keys. The conductive layers may be configured to receive a signal indicating a key has been depressed. Also, the internal component may be configured to scan the conductive layers to determine whether a key or keys have been depressed. In some embodiments, the conductive layers lie outside a portion of the electronic device in which internal components are traditionally located. In some embodiments, a substrate may be integrally connected with the keyboard. The substrate may receive some internal components of the electronic device.
