The method involves extruding at least one length of material that forms a cable guide having a plurality of partitions defined by one or more cable dividers and two end clip flanges, where the end clip flanges each have at least one snap guide and at least one locking clip channel. The method further involves sizing at least one cable guide assembly from the length of material, based on a predetermined length for the cable guide assembly, and preparing one or more ends of the at least one cable guide assembly.

摘要： A shelf assembly for a confined space formed within a structure is provided. The shelf assembly includes a fixed portion having a structure attachment interface to fixedly attach the shelf assembly to the structure and a slideable portion that is operable to slide out and extend from the fixed portion of the shelf assembly. The slideable portion has an enclosure attachment interface to attach an electronics enclosure to the slideable portion of the shelf assembly. The slideable portion has a first state and a second state in which the slideable portion is held in a first position or second position, respectively. In the first state, the entire slideable portion of the shelf assembly is positioned within the structure. In the second state, at least the enclosure attachment interface is positioned outside of the structure.

The compressible base-seal and the flange seal form an enclosure seal when the first L-shaped door and the second L-shaped door are closed.

摘要： An apparatus for enclosing electronic components such as used in telecommunication systems is disclosed. The apparatus includes a housing defining a chamber, with the housing comprising a front wall having an outer surface and a length dimension greater than a width dimension. A pair of opposing side walls are each contiguous with the front wall, and a pair of opposing end walls are each contiguous with the side walls and the front wall. A plurality of non-removable heat transfer fins are an integral part of the outer surface of the front wall. The fins are positioned at an angle with respect to the length dimension of the front wall, with each of the fins having a continuous uninterrupted structure across the outer surface between the opposing side walls. A removable back cover opposite the front wall is configured to seal the chamber of the housing.

The network interface device generally including a base defining an interior cavity, and being further defined by a provider portion and a subscriber portion. The network interface device further including a protective outer cover having an integrated override feature operable for permitting access to the provider portion and the subscriber portion of the base in one step. The network interface device also includes an improved terminating device having a locking feature having a locking slide and a movable latch for preventing unauthorized access to the interior of the terminating device. The network interface device further comprises a sealing grommet having a wave like shape for sealingly enveloping provider or subscriber lines that are routed into the base, thereby preventing outside contaminants from entering.

摘要： A terminating device for interconnecting service provider wiring with subscriber wiring includes a base, a customer bridge, a removable cover and insulation displacement contacts for terminating the service provider wiring and the subscriber wiring. The insulation displacement contacts for the subscriber wiring are housed within the customer bridge and terminate the subscriber wiring by moving an actuating arm from a disconnected position to a connected position. The insulation displacement contacts for the service provider wiring terminate the service provider wiring by moving a stuffer from a disconnected position to a connected position. The cover includes a locking slide having a movable clasp for deterring unauthorized access to the customer bridge, while permitting authorized access. A plug on the cover and a jack on the base each have a resilient seal that telescope together to effectively seal test contacts located within the jack when the plug is inserted into the jack.

摘要： A multi-tap distribution apparatus is encased in an enclosure comprising a boxed shaped housing (2) with one side open and a main body (1) fitted in the opening of the housing. A pair of operating windows (13) are recessed in the main body for mounting and removing thermistors (14). Four connectors (4) are projected into each operating window through insertion holes (13a) in the bottom surface of the window. The connectors are coupled to a current transmission circuit (18) which feeds distribution output terminals (5) with operating currents. Four thermistors can be detachably coupled to the connectors without opening the enclosure. By coupling and detaching each thermistor, operating currents can be passed and blocked to the corresponding distribution output terminal (5). Each operating window (13) is normally closed up with a cover (3) to keep out rain and external noise.

A cable television/telephone tap, using coaxial cables for splitting high-frequency signals and current for telephones and then supplying the same to subscribers includes a plurality of enclosures 1 and 2, having at least an upper side enclosure and a lower side enclosure; a branch terminal 9 for the high-frequency signals for the subscribers, which is provided on either the upper side enclosure or the lower side enclosure of a fully united enclosure wall; through-holes 7, which are provided on the same enclosure wall as the branch terminal; current-splitting wires which feed the current for telephones, the current-splitting wires being inserted through the through-holes; and a partition 43, which is provided around the through-holes in the enclosure wall, so as to assist the enclosure in surrounding the through-holes.
