The load-applying mechanism is provided with: a first clamping part that applies a first camping load, in the direction of stacking, to the gas seal part of the fuel cell stack; a second clamping part that applies to an electrolyte/electrode unit, in the aforementioned direction of stacking, a second clamping load that is lighter than the first clamping load; and a third clamping part that is provided on the first clamping part and, separately from the first clamping part, applies a third clamping load to the gas seal part in the aforementioned direction of stacking.

    摘要: A fuel cell module includes in a casing: a fuel cell stack that is formed by stacking a plurality of unit cell; an oxidant gas distributing member that is disposed at a side surface, that extends in a stack direction of the unit cells, of the fuel cell stack that extends in a direction from one end to another end of each of the unit cells, and that supplies the oxidant gas to the another end of each unit cell after supplying the oxidant gas through the oxidant gas distributing member from the one end to the another end; a reformer disposed at the one end; and a combustion portion that is disposed between the one end and the reformer. The oxidant gas distributing member has a higher thermal conductivity at the one end side of the unit cells than at the another end side of the unit cells.

    摘要: The present invention provides electrochemical device structures having integrated seals, and methods of fabricating them. According to various embodiments the structures include a thin, supported electrolyte film with the electrolyte sealed to the support. The perimeter of the support is self-sealed during fabrication. The perimeter can then be independently sealed to a manifold or other device, e.g., via an external seal. According to various embodiments, the external seal does not contact the electrolyte, thereby eliminating the restrictions on the sealing method and materials imposed by sealing against the electrolyte.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a stack for a solid oxide fuel cell and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, to a stack for a high-capacity solid oxide fuel cell and a manufacturing method thereof, in which cell modules comprising a flat-tubular reformer integrated with flat-tubular reactors are electrically connected to form a cell bundle. In a cell module of the stack for the solid oxide fuel cell according to the invention, at least one flat-tubular reactor is stacked on a flat-tubular reformer, wherein the flat-tubular reformer is closed at one side and has formed therein at least one first channel extending to the outside; the flat-tubular reactor is closed at one side and has formed therein at least one second channel extending to the outside; reaction units and air channels are formed on the outside of the flat-tubular reactor; and the first channel and the second channel communicate with each other. A plurality of the cell modules are stacked to form a cell bundle, and a plurality of the cell bundles are electrically in series and in parallel to form a cell stack. Thus, the invention enables a stable reaction by producing high-capacity electricity, and obtains stability in long-term operation due to easy replacement.

The solid oxide fuel cell stack may include a cell array, a pair of planar current collecting members, first and second terminal portions, and a pair of electric insulating members. The pair of the planar current collecting members may be electrically connected electrically to the plurality of bundles and configured to collect current. The first and second terminal portions contact the current collecting members. The pair of insulating members has first through-holes through which the first and second terminal portions pass, and to the insulating members are formed outside the pair of the current collecting members.
