Abstract: A provider institution computing system comprises a network interface circuit and a processing circuit. The processing circuit includes a processor coupled to a non-transitory memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processing circuit, cause the processing circuit to perform operations. The operations include receiving a request from a first messaging application of a sender device to send a gift to a recipient device via a second messaging application of the recipient device. The operations further include verifying that a first account associated with the sender includes a first value of points and converting the first value of points to a first gift value and a second gift value that is different than the first gift value. The operations further include providing a first gift option to the first messaging application, which includes a first gift with the first gift value and a second gift with the second gift value.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an IoT (Internet of Things) enabled device that initiates online or offline payment requests. In some arrangements, the IoT payment device may be managed through a central dashboard available via a stationary computing device or mobile device. In an embodiment, an IoT payment device may provide real-time updates that include data such as device function, alerts on maintenance needs, and direct contact with the service provider for any requests related to the IoT devices.

Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for depersonalizing financial transaction data being switched by a switching service (e.g., an interchange network) between an acquirer and an issuer located in different countries. The acquirer's host sends a personalized transaction to a depersonalization service via an independent communications channel. The service depersonalizes the transaction and sends it back to the acquirer's host, and also sends a reverse depersonalization dictionary to the issuer's host. The acquirer's host sends the depersonalized transaction to the acquirer's interface, which sends it via the switching service to the issuer's interface, which sends it to the issuer's host. The issuer's host uses the dictionary to repersonalize the transaction, processes the repersonalized transaction, and sends a response code to the acquirer's host. The service and the acquirer's interface may independently calculate a hash value, and the acquirer's interface may send the depersonalized transaction only if the values match.

Abstract: A system for payment routing programmed to: receive a payment transaction message relating to a putative transaction, the payment transaction message containing putative transaction data identifying an accountholder and a transaction amount corresponding to the putative transaction; input historical transaction data for the accountholder and at least a portion of the transaction amount to a scaled score algorithm to generate scaled scores, each of the scaled scores representing the likelihood of settlement of the putative transaction on a corresponding date and payment rail; output the scaled scores to a merchant in response to the payment transaction message; receive, from the merchant and in response to the output, feedback data for the putative transaction, the feedback data including a date of attempted payment processing for the putative transaction and an indicator of whether the attempted payment processing was completed; and retrain the scaled score algorithm using the feedback data.

Abstract: A user conducts a wireless payment transaction with a merchant system by transmitting payment information from a user device to a terminal reader without accessing a secure element resident on the user device. A user taps a user device in a merchant system's terminal reader's radio frequency field. The terminal reader and the user device establish a communication channel and the terminal reader transmits a signal comprising a request for a payment processing response. The signal is received by the user device and converted by a controller to a request understandable by an application host processor. The controller transmits the request to the application host processor, where the request is processed, and a response is transmitted to the controller and then to the terminal reader. The response generated by the application host processor is identifiable by the merchant system as a payment response.

Abstract: The described financial institution computing system provides services to customers through an application programming interface (“API”). The services include user identification services to customers and payment services that allow users to pay the customers via the financial institution. The user identification services allow the customers to verify the identity of users as non-fraudulent users. Further the user identification services allow the financial institution to provide known user information to the customers for purposes of prepopulating registration forms, completing transactions, and the like. Further services, such as user account validation services, payment services, and the like are also possible through the financial institution APIs. In some situations, users are registered with the financial institution. For example, a user may also be an account holder with the financial institution. In other situations, the users are not registered with the financial institution.

Abstract: Generation of dynamic electronic representations using modeling is described. Interaction data comprising attributes of one or more interactions between a user and the service provider or one or more third-party services integrated with the service provider is received. A model is executed to dynamically generate an electronic representation for a user profile based upon the interaction data, wherein the model is trained using attributes associated with a set of existing user profiles associated with the service provider and corresponding interaction data indicative of interaction data of the set of existing user profiles, and wherein the electronic representation is generated without input from the user. The electronic representation can be presented on an electronic device.
