    摘要: Provided is a monolayer type photoconductor superior in sensitivity characteristics that allows reliable production by easy confirmation of the sensitivity characteristics, and an image forming device using such a monolayer type photoconductor. A monolayer type photoconductor including a base body and a single photo sensitive layer formed on the base body, the single photo sensitive layer containing a charge generating agent, a hole transfer agent, an electron transfer agent and a binding resin, wherein a maximum absorption wavelength (λmax) of the photo sensitive layer is set to a value of below 850 nm and an absorbance (A850) of light at a wavelength of 850 nm per unit thickness of the photo sensitive layer is set to a value of 0.05 μm−1 or less.

    摘要: A charge transport material having reduced photodeterioration is disclosed to be an ethylene compound having an ethylene double bond site, having a structure in which four different substituents are substituted at the ethylene double bond site, and having general formula (I) below where R1, R2 and R3 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group of 1 to 6 carbons or an alkoxyl group of 1 to 6 carbons; R4 is phenyl or tolyl; and Ar is one group selected from the group consisting of naphthyl, biphenyl, anthryl, xylyl, and phenanthryl. An electrophotographic photoreceptor and process for producing the electrophotographic photoreceptor also are disclosed. The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate; and a photosensitive layer provided on the conductive substrate that includes the charge transport material.

The hole transport protective layer includes a three-dimensionally crosslinked material obtained by irradiating a composition including at least a radically polymerizable hole transport compound with ultraviolet rays or electron beams so that the radically polymerizable hole transport compound causes chain polymerization. In addition, the protective layer includes a specific cyano-containing styryl aromatic compound or a specific cyano-containing distyryl aromatic compound.
