    摘要: A pre-stressed arch supported membrane structure, a method of assembly and erection and a means of tensioning a membrane of double curvature supported by and attached to upright arches.By moving the ends of flat resilent arch structural members closer together, pre-stressed arches are formed by "bowing."Assembly and erection consists of attaching flat arch member ends to base beams, one fixed and one movable; attaching membranes to these flat members when reclined on the ground, operatively attaching transverse or inclined arch members to their respective structural members; moving the non-fixed base beam towards the fixed base beam thus causing the arches to be formed as the structure rises to its erected position. Preliminary tensioning of the membrane can take place when the transverse or inclined arches are attached to the arch members in their reclined position. Final membrane tensioning adjustments at the crown and at the base by moving the arches horizontally then anchoring the structure to the base, safely securing the base beams and arch ends completes the erection of the main structure.An alternate method of erection is provided by elimination of the base beams by fastening the arches directly to the base. The support arches are "bowed" after being attached to the transverse or inclined arches and then attached to the base by means of an adjustable fastener.Lightweight end closures or doors may be assembled and partially attached before erection to eliminate or decrease above ground assembly.

    摘要: A combined tent and tent canopy for use with motor vehicles is disclosed. The combined tent and tent canopy includes a tent structure formed using a plurality of flexible poles; a tent cover section that is attached to the plurality of flexible poles; and at least one extendable cover canopy sleeve section extending from the top and sides of the tent cover section. The extended canopy sleeve sections are configured to be connectable to a motor vehicle and thereby provide a covered connection to the motor vehicle. As used in connection with a sport utility vehicle or a mini-van, the combined tent and tent canopy provides a covered extension to the interior of the vehicle. The combined tent and tent canopy further incorporates a plurality of tie-down lines to anchor the tent and canopy to the ground and/or to the vehicle, to secure the tent and tent canopy structure.

The tent top base structure includes a lamp holder and a power storage holder for mounting a power source. The power storage holder is detachably connected to the lamp holder. The mounting frame is provided with a clamping groove with an opening facing downwards. In one example, a pod may be formed by a number of foldable or detachable panels, where a first panel includes at least four cavities at first locations having a first shape and a first cross section. A second panel may include at least four tabs at second locations corresponding to the first locations, and having a second shape and a second cross section that fits into and engages the at least four first cavities, such that the at least four tabs engage the at least four cavities to resist movement between different pods when arranged vertically. The pod may additionally include a third panel removably connecting the first panel and the second panel and forming an opening defining a cleaning port that is sealable, where the cleaning port is shaped to removably engage a cleaning device.
