A support arm is rotatably coupled with the base plate at a first end. A belt driven conveyor having a conveyor hopper at a first end and a discharge at a second end is rotatably coupled with a second end of said support arm at an approximate center of gravity thereof. A latch mechanism is provided for detachably coupling the first end of the conveyor with the first end of the support arm such that the conveyor hopper is position below the main hopper discharge. When the conveyor is uncoupled from the first end of the support arm, the conveyor can rotate to a loading position wherein the discharge thereof can be positioned over the main hopper.

A particulate vacuum collector device comprises a generally closed housing 74 including a bottom portion 140 particulate material and air inlet 90 and an air outlet 84, the inlet and outlet being above the bottom portion and the air outlet being adapted to be connected with an air suction generator 40. A perforated drum 160 within the housing screens air flow between the inlet and the air outlet while particulate material gravity falls to the bottom portion. A particulate material outlet 220 is separate from the inlet and is associated with the bottom portion of the collector. An auger 210 is provided for conveying material from the bottom portion to the material outlet, such outlet including a door 224 which prevents air from entering the housing during start-up operation of the device and which, in conjunction with some material being conveyed to the outlet for discharge outside the device, creates an air lock to substantially prevent air entering the housing through the material outlet while material is being collected and discharged.

In a grain elevator, grain mixed with dust is delivered near the top of a grain silo to the receiving orifice of a grain chute. The chute includes an enclosed conduit which extends from the top of the grain silo to its floor and deposits the grain in the silo without freely falling in the interior of the silo. The conduit has a tandem column series of vertically extending doors which are counter-balanced to be normally closed and which are opened by the weight of the grain in the conduit. The fall of the grain within the conduit separates the grain from the dust and the dust is removed by an exhaust fan connected to the conduit, the air flow being through the open bottom doors of the conduit, through the conduit, and out of the silo to a tube connected to a dust separator. In addition, the grain falls within the conduit and flows out of the doors which the grain column opens and which are immediately above the level of the grain already delivered into the silo, the other doors remaining closed.

A bin filling mechanism comprising an inner frame mounted for oscillation about an intermediate frame and carrying a pivotally mounted product conveying means thereon. The intermediate frame is vertically adjustable with respect to a main frame to allow adaptation of the device to variously sized feed mechanisms. A sensing means of the bin end of the product conveying means initiates raising of the product conveying means as the bin is filled with product. A slotted disc and rod arrangement provides for oscillation of the whole inner frame structure to insure even distribution of product within the bin.
