摘要: An apparatus (10) for pumping first and second selected sterilizing or cleaning fluids (F1, F) by a user comprising: a first fluid container (12), a second fluid container (12k), a first pump assembly (18), a second pump assembly (18k), the first and second pump assemblies (18, 18k) being interconnected in an arrangement adapted to simultaneously pump the first fluid (F1) through upstream end fluid delivery apertures (22a) and the second fluid (F) through a laterally extending spout (24k) on manual driving of the external device in the downstream direction (D), the first fluid (F1) being delivered to the complementary surface (17s) of an external device (15) separately from the second fluid (F).

摘要: System and method for monitoring hand hygiene of a user. The system includes a handheld electronic device for being carried by the user to generate device data such as location data. A portable dispenser assembly is worn by the user to dispense disinfectant fluid from a container in a plurality of dispensing events. The assembly includes an electronics unit that generates event data relating to the dispensing events. The assembly is separate from the handheld electronic device yet configured to communicate with the handheld electronic device. A monitoring system receives the device data and the event data relating to the dispensing events for evaluating the hand hygiene of the user.

摘要: A multi-modal olfactometer including a carrier assembly slidably coupled with a track and movable between a loading and testing position, a distribution block coupled with the carrier assembly and including a plurality of independent flow channels, a plurality of bottles configured for containing a gas stimuli and for being coupled with the distribution block, a plurality of tubes in flow communication with corresponding channels defined in the distribution block, an outlet piece including a plurality of independent flow channels that are each in flow communication with one of the respective tubes, and at least one actuator positioned adjacent to the bottles when the carrier assembly is in the testing position. The actuator operates to impact each of the bottles to cause the respective gas stimulus to flow through the respective channel in the distribution block, tube, and channel in the outlet piece for inhalation by a test subject.
