    Abstract: A display device is provided in the disclosure. A color filter substrate of a liquid crystal display panel has a quantum rod light-emitting layer disposed thereon, which includes a plurality of separation members arranged in a form of array and a quantum rod material manufactured in the separation members. The beneficial effects are that the display device has the quantum rod light-emitting layer with polarization ability disposed on an external surface of the liquid crystal display panel, and by a combination of excitation of the quantum rod, polarization property of fluorescence spectroscopy, and ability of the liquid crystal to change polarization, a liquid crystal television having high brightness and high color gamut can be carried out.

    Abstract: Provided are a multi zone backlight controlling method and a device thereof. The method includes: obtaining original grayscale values of pixels of the image; obtain a backlight control coefficient correction factor according to the original grayscale value; obtaining a first backlight control coefficient and a second backlight control coefficient based on the backlight control coefficient correction factor and the original grayscale values, and adjusting backlight brightness according to the first backlight control coefficient and the second backlight control coefficient, thereby reducing difference between the display image and the real image.

    Abstract: A display device, a backlight module and a manufacturing method of a backlight module are provided. The backlight module may include a substrate, a backlight source arranged on the substrate, and a silicone film coated on a light emitting surface of the backlight source. A cross-section of the silicone film along a direction substantially perpendicular to the substrate is an arc to diffuse light emitted by the backlight source. By coating the surface of the backlight source with an arc silicone film, the light angle of the backlight source could be increased, so as to achieve the goal of mixing light with a smaller mixing light distance, which could reduce the thickness of backlight module.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display panel and a driving method thereof, and a liquid crystal display, which the driving method comprises: normalizing an image to be displayed first, to obtain characteristic data of the input image; extending backlight boundary of each backlight partition according to a default condition, and determining a backlight opening coefficient of each backlight partition by data information after the backlight boundary extension; the backlight opening coefficient of each backlight partition subjected to a fusion process, to obtain a driving current of the liquid crystal display panel; obtaining characteristic data of output image of each backlight partition based on the characteristic data of the input image and the driving current; displaying the output image by the driving current and the characteristic data. It is possible to display high-quality picture information in the case of optical crosstalk existing in the liquid crystal display panel.

The driving substrate includes a first metal layer, a first high-reflection layer, and a second metal layer stacked in a top-down sequence.     Abstract: The invention provides a luminance adjustment method and apparatus for RGBW LCD, which uses first and second EOTFs to generate a grayscale luminance lookup table for RGBW LCD, and makes the grayscale-luminance relation in lookup table corresponding to the first EOTF within the grayscale interval between 0 and grayscale threshold; the grayscale-luminance relation in lookup table corresponding to the second EOTF within the grayscale interval between grayscale threshold and 255; the curve slope of the second EOTF greater than the curve slope of the first EOTF within the interval between second luminance threshold and maximum luminance value. By adopting different EOTFs for low and high grayscale intervals, the method considers the poor dark state characteristics of LCD and characteristics of RGBW LCD having higher maximum luminance, and improves the display capability of RGBW LCD in details of high grayscale images.

    Abstract: The invention provides a backlight module, using blue backlight to excite the red, green QD films to obtain red and green fluorescence; and disposing two metal wire grids on both sides of the green QD film to form a Fabry-Perot cavity, the Fabry-Perot cavity able to select and enhance luminance intensity of a specific wavelength selected from the green light emitted by the green QD film so as to improve color purity and luminous intensity of the green light, and thus increase the color gamut of the backlight module, as well as improve the luminous efficiency of the green QD film, and significantly improve the low efficiency problem of fluorescence QD film. Moreover, the metal wire grid may form a brightness enhancing structure with the reflective layer of the backlight module to save setting up a brightness enhancing structure and reduce the thickness of the backlight module.
