Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may perform a first transmission to one or more receiving devices, the first transmission associated with a transmission type. The transmitting device may determine a feedback response for the first transmission based on monitoring for feedback messages from the one or more receiving devices in response to the first transmission. The transmitting device may select a contention window size for performing one or more subsequent transmissions based at least in part on the feedback response and the transmission type. The transmitting device may perform the one or more subsequent transmissions in accordance with a clear channel assessment procedure using the selected contention window size.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for synchronization signal block (SSB) patterns with gaps. A method that may be performed by a network entity (e.g., a BS) generally includes determining a synchronization signal block (SSB) pattern that identifies SSB positions for sweeping a set of SSB beams over multiple SSB bursts with gaps between at least some of the SSB positions, wherein the SSB pattern identifies a subset of the set of SSB beams to use per SSB burst. The method generally includes transmitting SSBs over the multiple SSB bursts in accordance with the pattern.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a full-duplexing rule that indicates to refrain from using a transmission dropping rule for transmission direction conflicts that occur between uplink and downlink transmissions in a same symbol. The UE may receive a control message scheduling transmission of a message during a symbol, where a transmission direction conflict arises between a first transmission direction of the message and a second transmission direction of the symbol. For example, the UE may identify a transmission direction conflict between an uplink transmission direction of the message and a downlink transmission direction of the symbol. The UE may communicate the message during the symbol based on the full-duplexing rule. The described techniques may enable the UE to attain reduced latency and higher throughput based on reducing a number of transmissions dropped by the UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses to enable a user equipment (UE) and a base station to improve reception of a random access response (RAR) by the UE in an unlicensed spectrum. A network may define a procedure for calculating a random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) specific to unlicensed spectrum based on an extended RAR window. The calculation procedure may allow UEs transmitting in the window to calculate a unique RA-RNTI and identify a RAR addressed to the UE using the unique RA-RNTI. Additionally, or alternatively, a base station may transmit a RAR including timing information associated with a corresponding random access request. Accordingly, a UE may receive the RAR and compare the timing information with its own random access request in order to determine whether the RAR is addressed to the UE. Additionally, a UE may monitor a secondary cell or a sub-band for the RAR.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit, to a base station, a capability report indicating a capability of the UE to support multi-transmission time interval scheduling. The UE may then receive, from the base station based on the capability report, a first configuration of a first processing mode for the UE that is associated with communications scheduled for a single transmission time interval, and a second configuration of a second processing mode for the UE that is associated with communications scheduled for a scheduling interval spanning a plurality of transmission time intervals. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication to apply the first processing mode or the second processing mode, and may communicate with the base station based on the indication.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, within a resource selection window, a set of resources in which to transmit over an unlicensed sidelink channel. The UE may attempt a listen before talk (LBT) procedure to initiate a channel occupancy time in which to transmit over the unlicensed sidelink channel. The UE may adjust, within at least a portion of the resource selection window, the set of resources in which to transmit over the unlicensed sidelink channel to be contiguous in at least a time domain based at least in part on the LBT procedure succeeding. The UE may transmit, over the unlicensed sidelink channel, using the set of resources that are adjusted to be contiguous in at least the time domain. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for forming a virtual user equipment (UE) group and enhancing communication using joint reception and transmission mechanisms. For example, a UE may establish sidelink channels for communications with one or more other UEs. The UE and the one or more other UEs may form a virtual UE group (also interchangeably referred to as a virtual UE) using the sidelink channels. The UE may exchange information with other UEs in the virtual UE group to enhance communications between the one or more UEs of the virtual UE group and a network entity. The information exchanged depends on at least one of a joint reception mechanism or a joint transmission mechanism used by the virtual UE group. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support configured reception with sidelink control information (SCI) repetition over a sidelink. In aspects, a receiving user equipment (UE) may be configured to conduct combined reception/decoding of SCI repetitions (received from a transmitting UE over a sidelink) over multiple time-frequency slots at pre-defined occasions (e.g., occasions configured by a base station) to decode a sidelink transmission. In aspects, a receiving UE may receive from a transmitting UE over a sidelink, a sidelink transmission during a reception occasion that includes a plurality of reception opportunities for the receiving UE. Each reception opportunity of the plurality of reception opportunities includes a repetition of an SCI. The receiving UE decodes the SCI by combining the repetitions of the SCI received in one or more reception opportunities, and decodes a data transmission (e.g., a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission) using the decoded SCI.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that support sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission in low latency wireless transmissions. A set of shortened transmission time intervals (sTTIs) for uplink transmissions of a first wireless service may be identified; the set of sTTIs located within subframe time boundaries of a subframe of a second wireless service with a longer TTI than the sTTIs. Two or more sTTIs within the set of sTTIs may be used for SRS transmissions within the subframe time boundaries.
