Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on a first carrier having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), a scheduling indication via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a downlink transmission on a second carrier having a second SCS. The UE may process the downlink transmission on the second carrier based at least in part on a delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission and a timing threshold having a basic term and an adjustment term. For example, the basic term may be based at least in part on a minimum delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission, and the adjustment term may be based at least in part on a processing time due to a difference between the first SCS and the second SCS. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for multi-level configuration and reporting for positioning in new radio (NR) wireless communications systems. In some wireless communications systems, a network entity may determine a position or location of a supported user equipment (UE) using radio access network information. The information may be associated with UE-assisted positioning techniques, such as a positioning reference signal (PRS) transmission by the base station and reporting of radio signaling measurements by the UE. The UE may support a multi-level configuration for reporting the radio signaling measurements, including determined report quantities on one or more of a resource level, a set level, or a setting level for the PRS transmission, or generally for the network entity. The described techniques may improve robustness associated with the reporting and, in some examples, reduce signaling overhead associated with determining a positioning and location of the UE.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives assistance data for enabling the UE to estimate a location of the UE, the assistance data including a relative location of each of a plurality of transmission points, wherein the relative location is represented as a hierarchy of two or more levels of description, wherein a highest level of description is relative to a fixed reference point, receives, from each of at least a subset of the plurality of transmission points, at least one positioning reference signal, and estimates the location of the UE based on characteristics of reception of the at least one positioning reference signal from each of the subset of the plurality of transmission points and the two or more levels of description and the fixed reference point for each of the subset of the plurality of transmission points.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives at least one of a first type of sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration or a second type of SRS configuration, wherein the first type of SRS configuration is based on a first set of available configurations for SRS received over a first higher layer protocol signaling of a component carrier, wherein the second type of SRS configuration is based on a second set of available configurations for SRS received over a second higher layer protocol signaling, and wherein the first higher layer protocol signaling is different from the second higher layer protocol signaling, and transmits one or more SRS-for-positioning purposes based on the first or second type of SRS configuration.

Abstract: A user equipment includes a processor configured to: receive a first, second, and third reference signals including a first, second, and third sets of tones, and spanning first, second, and third frequency ranges in first and second sets of symbols and at least one third symbol, respectively, the first and second frequency ranges differing; where at least one of (1) the third frequency range overlaps the first frequency range, or (2) the at least one third symbol overlaps with the first set of symbols and the third frequency range overlaps the second frequency range; determine an offset between the first reference signal and the supplemental signal using the third set of tones; and determine a first indication, of a time and/or a range, based on a combination of the first reference signal and the second reference signal using the offset.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication transmits a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for at least eight orthogonal DMRS ports in a single symbol of at least one slot. The apparatus also transmits data in the at least one slot. The apparatus may correspond to a base station transmitting DMRS and downlink data. The apparatus may correspond to a user equipment (UE) transmitting DMRS and uplink data. The apparatus may bundle the DMRS across multiple slots with a bundled DMRS including a first set of the DMRS ports in a first single symbol of a first slot and a second set of the DMRS ports in a second single symbol of a second slot. The apparatus may transmit the DMRS in only a single slot in a physical resource block group (PRG) including two or more resource blocks using four frequency domain orthogonal cover codes (FD-OCC) and a frequency offset pattern.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for beam group reporting for positioning in new radio (NR) wireless communications systems. In some wireless communications systems, multiple PRS resources, e.g., a beam group, received by a user equipment (UE) from the same network entity may be used to produce a combined Time of Arrival (TOA) measurement for the reference or target to derive an Reference Signal Time Difference (RSTD) estimate. The UE provides to a network entity an indication of the PRS resources in the beam group, which may be specifically or generally identified. Additionally, parameters associated with the beam group are provided, such as a relative quality of the TOA measurement for each PRS resource in the subset, a spread of the TOA measurements in the subset, a relative signal strength of each PRS resource in the subset, or a spread of the signal strength in the subset.

The UE may transmit a first SRS on one or more first SRS ports in the first SRS resource, and may transmit a second SRS on one or more second SRS ports in the second SRS resource. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for the establishment of a communication link between a base station and a user equipment (UE). The UE may have a spatial partial reciprocity capability. The UE may be configured to determine antenna cross-correlation information for at least a first subset of antenna elements in the UE. The cross-correlation information may include one or more correlation parameters (e.g., correlation coefficients), a correlation model, or both. The UE may transmit sounding reference signals for a second set of antenna elements in accordance with the spatial partial reciprocity capability. The UE may also transmit an indication of the cross-correlation information for at least the first subset of antenna elements of the UE. The base station may use such information to derive correlation parameters for the unsounded antennas and determine precoders for downlink communications.
