    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on a first carrier having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), a scheduling indication via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a downlink transmission on a second carrier having a second SCS. The UE may process the downlink transmission on the second carrier based at least in part on a delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission and a timing threshold having a basic term and an adjustment term. For example, the basic term may be based at least in part on a minimum delay between the PDCCH and the scheduled downlink transmission, and the adjustment term may be based at least in part on a processing time due to a difference between the first SCS and the second SCS. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for multi-level configuration and reporting for positioning in new radio (NR) wireless communications systems. In some wireless communications systems, a network entity may determine a position or location of a supported user equipment (UE) using radio access network information. The information may be associated with UE-assisted positioning techniques, such as a positioning reference signal (PRS) transmission by the base station and reporting of radio signaling measurements by the UE. The UE may support a multi-level configuration for reporting the radio signaling measurements, including determined report quantities on one or more of a resource level, a set level, or a setting level for the PRS transmission, or generally for the network entity. The described techniques may improve robustness associated with the reporting and, in some examples, reduce signaling overhead associated with determining a positioning and location of the UE.

    Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication transmits a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for at least eight orthogonal DMRS ports in a single symbol of at least one slot.     Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for beam group reporting for positioning in new radio (NR) wireless communications systems. In some wireless communications systems, multiple PRS resources, e.g., a beam group, received by a user equipment (UE) from the same network entity may be used to produce a combined Time of Arrival (TOA) measurement for the reference or target to derive an Reference Signal Time Difference (RSTD) estimate. The UE provides to a network entity an indication of the PRS resources in the beam group, which may be specifically or generally identified. Additionally, parameters associated with the beam group are provided, such as a relative quality of the TOA measurement for each PRS resource in the subset, a spread of the TOA measurements in the subset, a relative signal strength of each PRS resource in the subset, or a spread of the signal strength in the subset.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for the establishment of a communication link between a base station and a user equipment (UE). The UE may have a spatial partial reciprocity capability. The UE may be configured to determine antenna cross-correlation information for at least a first subset of antenna elements in the UE. The cross-correlation information may include one or more correlation parameters (e.g., correlation coefficients), a correlation model, or both. The UE may transmit sounding reference signals for a second set of antenna elements in accordance with the spatial partial reciprocity capability. The UE may also transmit an indication of the cross-correlation information for at least the first subset of antenna elements of the UE. The base station may use such information to derive correlation parameters for the unsounded antennas and determine precoders for downlink communications.
