    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) is described that may include receiving a data packet transmission over a wireless channel from a base station. The method may further include determining a set of intrinsic log likelihood ratios (LLRs) based at least in part on the data packet transmission and determining an accumulated capacity for the wireless channel based at least in part on the set of intrinsic LLRs. The method may also include determining a channel quality indicator index or a transmission rank for the wireless channel based at least in part on the accumulated capacity and transmitting a feedback message that indicates the channel quality indicator index or the transmission rank for the wireless channel to the base station.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling identifying a configuration for reporting channel metrics for transport blocks that each include a plurality of code block group. The UE may receive a first transport block that includes a first plurality of code block groups. The UE may transmit a report indicating a channel metric for one or more code block groups of the first plurality of code block groups of the first transport block in accordance with the configuration for reporting channel metrics. In some cases, the UE may report a differential channel metric, based in part on a reference metric. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may report compressed feedback for a group CBGs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink message via multiple receive antennas including a first group of receive antennas associated with a first antenna panel and a second group of receive antennas associated with a second antenna panel. The UE may generate two or more CSI reports based on receiving the downlink message, where each CSI report is associated with at least one of the first antenna panel or the second antenna panel. The UE may select at least one of the two or more CSI reports to transmit to the base station. In some examples, the UE may receive (e.g., via control signaling) a CSI report configuration and may select the at least one CSI report for transmission based on the CSI report configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first user equipment (UE) may operate in accordance with a multi-user (MU) multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) communication mode and may communicate with multiple other UEs over a same physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) resource. In some implementations, the first UE may transmit an indication of an MU-unicast mode for multiple sidelink transmissions to the multiple other UEs and may transmit the multiple sidelink transmissions to the multiple other UEs over the same PSSCH resource. In such implementations, the multiple other UEs may select physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resources to transmit feedback associated with the multiple sidelink transmissions in accordance with a PSFCH resource selection procedure associated with the MU-unicast mode. In accordance with the PSFCH resource selection procedure, the multiple other UEs may each select different PSFCH resources for their respective feedback transmissions.

A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more messages indicative of uplink semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources and downlink SPS resources allocated to the UE, the uplink SPS resources and the downlink SPS resources being within a frequency band used for full duplex communications by the UE. The UE may modify parameters associated with the full duplex communications on the uplink SPS resources, the downlink SPS resources, or both, based at least in part on instances of the uplink SPS resources at least partially overlapping in time with instances of the downlink SPS resources. The UE may apply the one or more parameters, after modification, to transmission of uplink communications over the instances of the uplink SPS resources, reception of downlink communications over the instances of the downlink SPS resources, or both.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a data message to a user equipment (UE) in a data block modulated according to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE may monitor for the data block and may attempt to decode the data block. If the UE successfully receives and decodes the data block, the UE may transmit an acknowledgment (ACK) in a feedback message. If the UE unsuccessfully receives or decodes the data block, the UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement (NACK). The UE may transmit the feedback message with the ACK or NACK and a value from a codebook indicating for the base station to increase or decrease the MCS by a delta value for a following transmission or a retransmission.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit sounding reference signal (SRS) repetitions in a subset of slots based on control signaling (e.g., downlink control information) received from a base station. For example, the base station may transmit an inter-slot bitmap to dynamically indicate which slots the UE is to transmit the SRS repetitions. In some examples, the base station may also configure and indicate intra-slot SRS repetitions to the UE to indicate on which symbols in a slot indicated by the inter-slot bitmap for the SRS repetitions. Additionally or alternatively, the base station may transmit a start and length indicator value (SLIV) to indicate the subset of slots in which the UE is to transmit the SRS repetitions based on indicating one or multiple start symbols and lengths for the UE to transmit the SRS repetitions.
