The present invention provides a facial image display apparatus that can display moving images concentrated on the face when images of people's faces are displayed. A facial image display apparatus is provided wherein a facial area detecting unit (21) detects facial areas in which faces are displayed from within a target image for displaying a plurality of faces; a dynamic extraction area creating unit (22) creates, based on the facial areas detected by the facial area detecting means, a dynamic extraction area of which at least one of position and surface area varies over time in the target image; and a moving image output unit (27) sequentially extracts images in the dynamic extraction area and outputs the extracted images as a moving image.

An adjustment method of a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a cooling and excitation step in which work of transporting a superconducting magnet to a facility different from a facility where the superconducting magnet is to be installed, cooling a superconducting coil of the superconducting magnet with a refrigerant, and supplying a current from an external power supply for excitation is repeated until a predetermined rated current flows; a demagnetization and transportation step of demagnetizing the superconducting coil and transporting the superconducting magnet to the facility where the superconducting magnet is to be installed in a state where the superconducting coil is cooled by the refrigerant; and an installation step of installing the superconducting magnet in the facility where the superconducting magnet is to be installed and supplying a predetermined rated current from an external power supply to the superconducting coil in order to excite the superconducting coil.

There is provided an MRI system in which magnetostatic field can be stably generated by keeping the cooling capacity of a cryocooler in a proper range. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus using a superconducting magnet (101) is equipped with a superconducting coil (201, 202), a container (203, 204) for accommodating the superconducting coil and refrigerant, a cooling unit (208) for liquefying vaporized gas of the refrigerant in the container again, a pressure detector (215) for detecting the pressure in the container, a heating unit (216) for heating in at least one of the cooling unit and the container, a controller (127) and a computer (114). The controller (127) controls the heat value of the heating unit (216) in accordance with the pressure detected by the pressure detector (215). The computer (114) judges by using the heat value of the heating unit (216) whether maintenance of the cooling unit should be performed or not.

A library view image classifying unit classifies a plurality of images into groups which have a rank order associated therewith. A library view representative image layout unit places, on a representative image layout region in the display region, an image belonging to any one of the groups falling within a range on the group image layout reference line associated with the representative image layout region, as a representative image.
