A flexible glass display apparatus and a method for displaying image data in the apparatus are provided. The flexible glass display apparatus includes: a flexible glass display unit that displays image data portions; a sensing unit that detects bending of the display unit; another sensing unit that detects first and second areas which are brought into contact with each other due to bending of the display unit; and a controller, upon detection of contact between the first and second areas, controls at least one image data portion displayed in the first and second areas based on the contact, wherein an image data portion displayed in any one of the first and second areas is distinguishable in the other area.

To this end, according to one embodiment, the display device, comprising: a touch sensor unit; a display unit; a transparent display unit; a position sensor unit; and a processor configured to: detect the second touch input by activating the second touch sensor unit and control the first object displayed in the display unit based on the detected second touch input when a first position, and detect the first touch input and the third touch input respectively by activating the first touch sensor unit and the third touch sensor unit, control the first object displayed in the display unit based on the detected first touch input, and control the second object displayed in the transparent display unit based on the detected third touch input when a second position.

The present specification relates to a head mounted display (HMD) and a method of controlling therefor. More specifically, the present specification provides a method for a user wearing an HMD to recognize at least one object positioned at the front via a virtual map. The HMD includes a display unit configured to display visual information, a position sensing unit configured to sense a position of the HMD, a camera unit configured to sense at least one object positioned at the front of the HMD, and a processor configured to control the display unit, the position sensing unit, and the camera unit. The processor is further configured to obtain position information of the HMD, generate a first virtual map indicating a virtual object corresponding to the at least one object positioned at the front of the HMD, based on the position information of the HMD, and display the first virtual map.

The digital device comprising: a communication unit configured to transmit/receive a signal with an external device; a gesture sensor unit configured to sense a gesture with respect to the digital device; and a processor configured to control the communication unit and the gesture sensor unit, wherein the processor is further configured to: provide a first mode corresponding to a first event when occurrence of the first event is detected; transmit a first signal, commanding provision of a second mode corresponding to a second event, to the external device when occurrence of the second event is detected during provision of the first mode; and switch from the first mode to the second mode when detecting a first gesture with respect to the digital device after transmission of the first signal.

A method of controlling a portable device according to one embodiment of the present specification can display an augmented reality image corresponding to a marker before the marker is displayed. The method includes the steps of configuring an angle of view of a camera unit as a first angle of view and an angle of view of a display unit as a second angle of view, wherein the second angle of view is less than the first angle of view, detecting a marker at an angle less than the first angle of view and larger than the second angle of view, and displaying a first part of an augmented reality image corresponding to the marker, wherein the first part may correspond to a part of the augmented reality image positioned within the second angle of view.

A method for controlling a portable device includes displaying a first layer from among a plurality of layers on a first display region located at a front surface of the portable device; displaying an index of the plurality of layers on a second display region located at a lateral surface of the portable device; determining a user-viewed display region from among the first display region and the second display region; detecting a first control input to the first display region; and controlling the first layer displayed on the first display region in response to the first control input when a user gazes at the first display region, or controlling the index displayed on the second display region in response to the first control input when the user gazes at the second display region.
