    Abstract: This application is applied to an ultra-wideband (UWB)-based wireless personal area network system, including 802.15 series protocols, for example, the 802.15.4a protocol, the 802.15.4z protocol, or the 802.15.4ab protocol; a wireless local area network system that can support 802.11 series protocols such as a next-generation Wi-Fi protocol of IEEE 802.11ax, for example, 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7, or EHT, and for another example, a next generation protocol of 802.11be, and Wi-Fi 8; a sensing system; or the like. This application provides a signaling transmission method, including receiving a UWB test signal, determining indication information of a number of fragment signals of a UWB measurement signal based on the UWB test signal, and sending the indication information. The number of fragment signals of the UWB measurement signal is determined based on the UWB test signal. This reduces a probability of incorrectly configuring the number of fragment signals.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. In this method, a sensing receive device sends first information to a sensing transmit device in advance, to use the first information to indicate a padding requirement of the sensing receive device for a trigger frame. The padding requirement is for sensing. The sensing transmit device sends the trigger frame having a padding bit for sensing to the sensing receive device. The padding bit is determined based on the padding requirement indicated by the first information. Therefore, the trigger frame sent by the sensing transmit device satisfies the padding requirement of the sensing receive device for the trigger frame.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to data communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes when receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), obtaining, by a network node, a basic service set (BSS) identifier in the PPDU.If the BSS identifier in the PPDU is different from a first BSS identifier and same as a second BSS identifier, the network node determines whether the PPDU meets a preset spatial reuse condition, where the first BSS identifier is an identifier of a first BSS to which the network node belongs, the second BSS identifier is an identifier of an extended BSS to which a target relay belongs, and the target relay and the network node belong to the first BSS. If the PPDU meets the preset spatial reuse condition, the network node contends for an access channel, and communicates with a station other than the target relay in the first BSS.
