Abstract: An apparatus, method, and system to provide a backoff method and device used for a lower priority access category AC. The method includes: when the lower priority AC and another AC in a same station STA obtain a transmission opportunity TXOP at the same time and an internal collision occurs, detecting a TXOP sharing state of the lower priority AC; and executing backoff of the lower priority AC according to the detected TXOP sharing state.
