Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods and communication apparatus. In one example method, a centralized unit user plane (CU-UP) obtains a first service feature of a service. The first service feature includes one or more of the following: data that indicates whether the service is a periodic service, a periodicity corresponding to the service when the service is a periodic service, a service packet size corresponding to the service, a service model corresponding to the service, or scheduling time of the service. Then, the CU-UP sends the first service feature to a centralized unit control plane (CU-CP). Next, the CU-CP may send the first service feature to a distributed unit (DU).

Abstract: This application provides a radio resource management measurement method and apparatus. A network device sends measurement configuration information to a terminal device, where the measurement configuration information carries a first threshold; and the terminal device determines, based on a value relationship between a detection value and the first threshold, and signal quality of at least one neighboring cell, whether to report a measurement report. When performing RRM measurement, the terminal device can determine, based on a relationship between the first threshold and signal quality of a serving cell and/or a quantity of detected cells, and the signal quality of the at least one neighboring cell, whether to report the measurement report. This can prevent the terminal device from reporting the measurement report frequently, and avoid a case in which the terminal device does not report the measurement report in a timely manner, so that a measurement mechanism is more appropriate.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block (SSB) measurement method and an apparatus. One example method includes that a terminal device receives first information and second information. The first information indicates a time domain position of an SSB sent by a serving cell, and the second information indicates a set of SSBs that the terminal device needs to measure and that are sent by a neighboring cell. The terminal device measures, in a first measurement window based on the first information, the SSB sent by the serving cell. The terminal device measures, in a second measurement window based on the second information, the SSB sent by the neighboring cell.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: A terminal device receives first information from a first network device or a second network device, and determines, based on the first information, that it is allowable that the terminal device sends MDT information to the first network device. When it is allowable that the terminal device sends the MDT information to the first network device, the terminal device sends the MDT information to the first network device. This prevents the terminal device from sending the MDT information to the first network device immediately after obtaining the MDT information and avoids disclosure of a network coverage status, thereby effectively and securely using the MDT information.

The second device stops the transmission between the first RLC entity and the PDCP entity based on the first indication information.
