    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a transmission method for a common message and a device, which relates to a field of communication technologies and is invented for effectively ensuring that both a low cost MTC terminal and a normal LTE terminal may reliably receive the common message.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a downlink control information (DCI) transmission method, a network device, and user equipment. The method includes the following steps: A network device transmits DCI in a first DCI format; when the DCI is used to schedule a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) carrying a multicast traffic channel, the network device indicates, by using a first radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), that the DCI is used to schedule the PDSCH carrying the multicast traffic channel, and that first information is indicated in the DCI and second information is not indicated in the DCI; and when the DCI is used to schedule a user equipment-specific (UE-specific) PDSCH, the network device indicates, by using a second RNTI, that the DCI is used to schedule the UE-specific PDSCH, and that the first information is not indicated in the DCI and the second information is indicated in the DCI.

The method includes: obtaining cell set information sent by a cell set in an access network; selecting a target cell set to which a UE may hand over according to the cell set information, and sending information about selection of the target cell set to the target cell set; and receiving information about at least one target cell decided by the target cell set, and providing the information about the target cell to the UE for handover. The method for mobility management between cell sets simplifies mobility management in multi-cell communication and improves performance of the communication system.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a channel estimation method, a base station, user equipment UE, and a system. The method includes: setting up, by a base station, a connection to user equipment UE; and sending, to the UE, notification information indicating that the UE is in a radio remote scenario, where the notification information is used to instruct the UE to perform channel estimation by using a channel estimation algorithm applicable to the radio remote scenario, and the channel estimation algorithm is used to perform channel estimation on a signal that is obtained after downlink signals from multiple radio remote units RRUs are superposed. The UE can perform channel estimation by using the appropriate channel estimation algorithm, to effectively improve accuracy of the channel estimation, thereby effectively improving a downlink data throughput of the UE.

The communication method includes: receiving, by a base station, uplink data sent by a terminal device; decoding the uplink data; and sending, by the base station, feedback information of the uplink data. The feedback information is used to indicate a decoding status of the uplink data, and carries information about an identifier. The method includes: receiving, by first user equipment UE, first downlink control information sent by a base station, where the first downlink control information includes a downlink control parameter of the first UE and an index of a radio network temporary identifier RNTI of second UE; receiving, by the first UE, second downlink control information sent by the base station; and obtaining, by the first UE, a data signal of the first UE according to the index of the RNTI of the second UE, the downlink control parameter of the second UE, the data signal of the associated user equipment group, and the downlink control parameter of the first UE. Signaling overheads can be reduced according to embodiments of the present invention.
