    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a wireless communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: determining a target MCS if a current MCS exceeds a predetermined threshold, where the target MCS is an MCS less than or equal to the predetermined threshold; mapping a PTRS to one or more symbols based on the target MCS; and sending, to a terminal device, the symbol to which the PTRS is mapped. through implementation of the embodiments of this application, when the current MCS exceeds the predetermined threshold, the target MCS that is less than or equal to the predetermined threshold may be determined, so that a density of a PTRS on a time-frequency resource can be flexibly determined based on the target MCS and an association relationship between an MCS threshold and a time domain density of a PTRS, thereby helping reduce resource overheads of the PTRS.

    Abstract: Example reference signal measurement methods, example resource indication methods, and example apparatuses are provided. One example method includes receiving at least one reference signal from a network device. Channel state information can then be determined based on some or all of the at least one reference signal. The channel state information can then be reported to the network device based on first duration. When it is determined to activate a first antenna panel and measure the at least one reference signal by using the first antenna panel, the first duration can be determined based on a first constraint relationship. The first antenna panel can be currently not activated.

    Abstract: An information transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: determining a time domain density of a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS); determining a frequency domain density of the PTRS based on an available bandwidth, a scheduled resource block (RB) or an available RB; mapping the PTRS to one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols based on the time domain density and the frequency domain density; and sending a signal that includes the OFDM symbol to which the PTRS is mapped. According to this application, a quantity of PTRSs can be prevented from jumping when a value of scheduled bandwidth is close to a threshold, both accuracy of common phase error estimation and spectral efficiency are taken into consideration, and the PTRSs can be uniformly mapped in the scheduled or available bandwidth, thereby properly configuring the PTRSs.
