摘要: Adaptive pairing of an access point (AP) slice with other computing resource slices is disclosed. Pairing of an AP slice can comprise pairing to a radio access network (RAN) slice and/or to a network core component (core) slice. The pairing can be based on end point device information, AP environment information, user preference information, and state information for a RAN and/or CN slice. Coordinating or synchronization of AP, RAN, and/or core slices can enable streamlining of migration of a device from an AP component to a RAN component. Moreover, AP slice coordination can enable efficient use of network computing resources tailored to needs of devices connecting to an AP device. A determined pairing, e.g., AP-core, AP-RAN-core, RAN-core, etc., can be modified before provisioning or after provisioning in response to changes in device demands and/or AP state/environment.

摘要: Wireless network operations can choose a long-term evolution (LTE) and 5G new radio (NR) dual connectivity deployment architecture using LTE as the anchor radio access network (RAN) node and adding mmWave NR as a secondary node when available. However, dual LTE/NR radios can consume more power and contribute more heat, thus degrading performance of radio frequency components. The overheating can be addressed by the user equipment (UE) sending an information message to indicate areas in which it requests to operate with reduced capability. Consequently, the network can determine whether to grant the request, or the UE can switch between NR to LTE depending on NR downlink channel quality.

摘要: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for data traffic steering based on quality of service. According to some embodiments, a system can comprise receiving data packets associated with a quality of service value, wherein the data packets are stored in a buffer and transmitted utilizing a first link, determining whether a condition that indicates a modification to a data routing schedule is satisfied and whether a second link is available, and in response to the determining indicating that the condition is satisfied and that the second link is available, performing the modification of the data routing schedule comprising utilizing the second link and the first link to transmit the data packets associated with the quality of service value.

摘要: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for optimization of resource usage in cross-reality sessions. A computer can receive a request for a cross-reality session, determine entities to be included in the cross-reality session, and optimize resource usage during the cross-reality session. Optimized cross-reality session data can be provided to a device to generate a cross-reality environment that can include the one entity of the entities rendered in the first level of detail. Attention data that can describe interactions in the cross-reality environment can be obtained. The resource usage can be re-optimized based on the attention data. Re-optimizing the resource usage can include determining that the one entity of the entities is to be rendered in a second level of detail that is greater than the first level of detail. An update can be delivered to the device, which can use the update to update the cross-reality environment.
