A track comprises a single type of data (e.g. audio, video etc.). The system comprises means for receiving a request comprising an associated parameter (e.g. position parameter); means for determining at least two of the plurality of tracks associated with the parameter (e.g. wherein the at least two tracks have associated information that matches the position parameter); and means, responsive to the determining means, for collating the determined at least two tracks in order to generate the first multimedia stream.

摘要： A termination device to facilitate interconnection of a twisted pair communications cable to IDCs includes: a housing having an aperture and a pair of first and second IDCs extending within the aperture; a twisted pair communications cable having a twisted pair of first and second conductors; and a termination device. The termination device comprises: a body having an outer surface; a channel in the outer surface of the body, the channel being sized and configured to receive a twist of the first and second conductors and to maintain the twist in position; and IDC guide structure configured to guide the first IDC into engagement with the first conductor at a first engagement location and the second IDC into engagement with the second conductor at a second engagement location, the first and second engagement locations being positioned within the channel and within the twist of the first and second conductors. A splitting structure is positioned in the channel that separates at least a portion of the first and second conductors as they reside in the channel.

A water intake system installed on a sea-going vessel positioned on the surface of a body of water includes an apparatus for taking up seawater from the body of seawater. The apparatus includes a water intake member, a water intake positioned on the water intake member, and an impingement and entrainment mitigation device at least partially surrounding the water intake and including a plurality of apertures sized to prevent entry of marine organisms into the water intake. A method of desalinating water on a sea-going vessel positioned on the surface of a body of seawater includes the steps of intaking seawater from the body of seawater into the vessel through a first screen including a plurality of apertures sized to prevent entry of marine organisms into the water intake, and removing salt from the seawater taken into the vessel to yield desalinated water and a concentrate.

The electrically conductive plug wrap is mounted on the housing and includes a contact portion. The electrically conductive contact member is adapted to be mounted on the cable such that the contact member engages the drain wire. When the plug assembly is mounted on the cable, the contact member engages the contact portion of the plug wrap to provide electrical continuity between the drain wire and the plug wrap.

摘要： An electronic system for accurately controlling the RF output power from a power amplifier (21) is implemented using a multiplier (28) which multiplies the output power by itself to provide a DC component which is fed to a variable gain amplifier (29) which provides a controlling signal via a comparator (24) and an integrator (25) to the power amplifier. The transfer function between controlling signal and output power is substantially linear, even during dynamic variation of the controlling signal. The system is capable of a large dynamic range, and exhibits constant control loop bandwidth over this range. This is of particular use to TDMA applications with a large dynamic range of levelled output powers because a fixed filter function can be used to shape the transmitted burst.
