摘要： The invention provides an improved controller (10) for a games console. The invention is a games controller (10) that is intended to be held by a user in both hands. Additionally, the controller of the invention (10) may comprise a plurality of controls located on the front and top of the controller. The controller of the present invention (10) is advantageous as it additionally comprises at least one additional control (11 A, 11 B) located on the rear of the controller (10) in a position to be operated by the middle fingers of a user (12). The additional control (11 A, 11 B) may be a paddle lever and may replicate the function of either one of two of the controls located on the front or top of the controller (10).

The game controller includes a controller chassis and an actuator system, which includes a trigger body, a trigger mechanism chassis, a strike plate coupled to the trigger body, a first trigger adjustment control screw received in a screw thread disposed within the controller chassis, and a second trigger adjustment control screw received in a screw thread disposed within the controller chassis, wherein a portion of each of the first trigger adjustment control screw and second trigger adjustment control screw engages with a respective portion of the strike plate, and said portion of each of the first trigger adjustment control screw and second trigger adjustment control screw each create an end stop to limit the actuator movement of the trigger body.
