    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring timing advances for uplink communications resources. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment includes receiving, from a base station, signaling that configures a first timing advance and a second timing advance. The first timing advance is configured to be used by the user equipment when transmitting an uplink communication in a half-duplex resource, and the second timing advance is configured to be used by the user equipment when transmitting an uplink communication in a full-duplex resource. The method may further include transmitting, to the base station, a first uplink communication within a first resource using one of the first timing advance or the second timing advance based on whether the first resource comprises a half-duplex resource or a full duplex resource.

    Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a user equipment (UE) to signal a capability corresponding to a number of active beams (e.g., active uplink beams) to a base station so that the UE may be appropriately configured, and so that the UE may communicate with the base station accordingly. Furthermore, some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a UE and/or a base station to apply one or more rules and/or conditions to assist with ensuring that a UE capability, corresponding to a number of active beams (e.g., active uplink beams), is not violated, or to prevent the UE from communicating on a beam that is invalid due to a violated UE capability. Furthermore, some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a UE and a base station to perform a beam management procedure upon beam activation to ensure that a beam is of sufficient quality for communications.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to communicating uplink control information. In an aspect, a first device receives from a second device configuration information including an indication to transmit uplink control information via a primary component carrier (PCC) or a given secondary component carrier (SCC) of at least one SCC in a slot. The first device also receives from the second device mapping information indicating an enabled spatial relation information configured for the PCC or the given SCC for transmitting the uplink control information. Thereafter, the first device identifies the enabled spatial relation information from the mapping information and transmits to the second device the uplink control information on the PCC or the given SCC in the slot based on the indication included in the configuration information, the enabled spatial relation information, and an uplink resource mapped to the enabled spatial relation information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a control signal that indicates one or more parameters for a beam failure reporting procedure. The beam failure reporting procedure may be associated with a multi-path wireless connection for the first UE, which may include a first link between the first UE and a network entity and a second link between the first UE and a second UE. The first UE may monitor, as part of a multi-path beam failure recovery procedure, the first link for one or more signals associated with beam failure detection based on receiving the control signal. The first UE may transmit, via the first link or the second link, one or more messages in accordance with the beam failure reporting procedure based on monitoring. The one or more messages may include information associated with the one or more parameters.
