    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may transmit a set of spatially multiplexed synchronization signals in a same symbol period. The set of spatially multiplexed synchronization signals may indicate a parameter, such as a cell identifier, for the network entity. The network entity may select a sequence for each synchronization signal of the set. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for the set of spatially multiplexed synchronization signals during the same symbol period. The UE may differentiate each synchronization signal based on a respective sequence used to transmit each synchronization signal. The UE may determine that the set of spatially multiplexed synchronization signals were transmitted by the network entity using multiple antenna ports. The UE may determine the parameter for the network entity based on receiving the set of spatially multiplexed synchronization signals.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may utilize multi-port mobility reference signals to assist with spatial based mobility procedures. The UE may receive a reference signal that is associated with multiple antenna ports. The UE may measure a multi-dimensional channel response based on the reference signal. The multi-dimensional channel response may be associated with measured channel metrics corresponding to the multiple antenna ports. The UE may transmit a report that includes a channel measurement vector based on the multi-dimensional channel response. The channel measurement vector may indicate multiple measured channel metrics for one or more dimensions of the multi-dimensional channel response. The network entity may transmit a message that indicates one or more metrics associated with mobility management for the UE based on the report that indicates the channel measurement vector.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for channel measurements for multiple uplink carriers in carrier aggregation (CA). A CA configuration may provide a first downlink carrier, a first uplink carrier, and a second uplink carrier. The second uplink carrier may be a supplemental uplink (SUL) carrier that does not have an associated downlink carrier in a same frequency band. A measurement downlink carrier may be configured and associated with the second uplink carrier, and measurements of a reference resource of the measurement downlink carrier may be used to determine transmission parameters of the second uplink carrier.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, using a set of resources that are shared between a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, control signaling that includes a dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) configuration for a shared data channel. The UE may receive one or more indicators associated with the first RAT, the second RAT, or both, to coordinate communications for the shared set of resources. The UE may communicate with the network using the first RAT or the second RAT based on applying one or more of the indicators. To further support DSS, the UE may transmit UE capability information to indicate whether the UE is capable of DSS for the first RAT and the second RAT, and may apply one or more multiplexing modes for communications using the first RAT and the second RAT.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for compact downlink control information (DCI) signaling design for ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC). A method for wireless communications performed by a base station (BS) is provided. The method generally includes generating DCI, the DCI scheduling at least one transmission, according to a first DCI format. The first DCI format is compressed relative to a second DCI format and includes a carrier indicator field (CIF) and/or a rate-matching indicator field. The BS transmits the DCI to a user equipment (UE). The UE communicates with the BS based on the received DCI.
