Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink transmission via at least one of a primary cell, a secondary cell, or a combination thereof. The UE may identify a feedback indication for the downlink transmission. The UE may transmit a first feedback message that includes the feedback indication via the primary cell. The UE may transmit a second feedback message that also includes the feedback indication via the secondary cell.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-program products for performing dynamic bandwidth switching between control signals and data signals of differing bandwidths are disclosed. A mobile device receives a control signal having a first bandwidth. The mobile device receives a data signal having a second bandwidth different from the first bandwidth. The control signal and the data signal are received over a single carrier frequency. The data signal is transmitted after the control signal such that the data signal and control signal are separated by a time interval. The time interval is based on a switching latency of the mobile device.

Abstract: Various designs for implementing bandwidth part (BWP) full-duplex (FD) are discussed. A base station serving a plurality of user equipments (UEs) over a component carrier bandwidth (CC BW) receives a reference signal from a UE while transmitting downlink traffic to another UE over a part of the CC BW. The base station determines, based on the reference signal, a level of interference on transmissions over the part of the CC BW, and, based at least in part on interference cancelation capabilities of the base station and the level of interference, at least one portion of the CC BW for full-duplex operations. The base station activates full-duplex operations for the at least one portion of the CC BW, which includes receiving from the UE while transmitting to another UE over the same portion of the CC BW. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A discontinuous reception (DRX) periodicity may be configured to enable monitoring of a reference signal (RS) for RLM procedures. For example, a transmitting device may configure a DRX periodicity for an RS, where the configured DRX periodicity may include a periodicity of discrete transmissions of the RS or a periodicity of a transmission window in which the RS is located. Accordingly, a receiving device may identify the DRX periodicity and monitor radio link quality using the RS based on the DRX periodicity. In some examples, the RS may be transmitted independent of control channel transmissions, and the transmitting device may configure one or more control resource sets for the RS.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A configuration for a reference signal used to determine a non-linear behavior of transmission components at a transmitting device may be determined. The configuration for the reference signal may be determined based on signaling transmitted by the transmitting device, signaling transmitted by a device that receives the reference signal, or both. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration for the reference signal may be determined based on a configuration of other signals transmitted by the transmitting device prior to or concurrently with the transmission of the reference signal. The determined configuration may be used to generate and transmit the reference signal or to determine a configuration of a received reference signal. In both cases, a non-linear response of transmission components at the transmitting device may be determined based on the reference signal.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas associated with different power classes. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. The local and auxiliary antennas may be associated with different power classes, and the first device may transmit a message to a base station indicating that the first device is capable of transmitting using antennas associated with different power classes. The first device may then receive configurations from a base station of different transmit powers to transmit on the antennas associated with the different power classes, and the first device may transmit uplink signals to the base station in accordance with the different transmit power configurations.

Abstract: Wireless communication techniques that include techniques for allocating resources for peak reduction tones are discussed. A UE may receive from a base station an indication of one or more frequency resources that are allocated for uplink communication. The UE may also receive from the base station an indication of a subset of the one or more frequency resources allocated for uplink communication that are also allocated for transmission of one or more peak reduction tones. The UE may transmit to the base station at least one peak reduction tone on at least one frequency resource of the subset of the one or more frequency resources.
