Abstract: Methods and devices for downlink (DL) control channel communications operating in a semi-static channel access mode in a shared frequency band are provided. In one aspect, a method is performed by a base station (BS) and includes: transmitting, based on a first configuration during a first period, a first downlink (DL) control signal, where the first configuration is based on the first period associated with a first channel occupancy signal (COT) type; and transmitting, based on a second configuration during a second period, a second DL control signal, where the second configuration is based on the second period associated with a second COT type different from the first COT type, and where the second configuration is different from the first configuration.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for dynamic indications for partial uplink skipping are described. An apparatus is configured to transmit UCI including an indication for partial uplink skipping on a PUSCH at a time based on a transmission offset from the PUSCH, and transmit the partial uplink skipping on the PUSCH. An apparatus is configured to receive a CG for a PUSCH, rate match or puncture UCI that includes an indication for a partial uplink skipping of the CG, where the UCI is rate-matched across or punctured based on a configured or defined level of RBs, and transmit the UCI. An apparatus is configured to receive UCI including an indication for partial uplink skipping on a PUSCH at a time based on a transmission offset from the PUSCH, and receive the partial uplink skipping on the PUSCH.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitting device may add a first extension before modulated symbols of a communication, the first extension including data from an end portion of the modulated symbols. The transmitting device may add a second extension after the modulated symbols, the second extension including data from a beginning portion of the modulated symbols. The transmitting device may apply a first weighting function that overlaps the first extension and the beginning portion of the modulated symbols. The transmitting device may apply a second weighting function that overlaps the end portion of the modulated symbols and the second extension. The transmitting device may add one or more of a header before the first extension or a tail after the second extension. The transmitting device may transmit the communication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for improving sidelink communication reliability. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may map allocated sidelink resources from a logical domain to a physical domain, where the mapped resources may include greater frequency diversity in the physical domain A frequency range of a sidelink control channel or of a sidelink data channel may be greater in the physical domain than in the logical domain after the mapping. In some examples, sidelink communications may be associated with an aggregation factor that represents a number of repetitions of a sidelink communication. In this example, a UE may repeat a sidelink communication within a contention-based resource pool a number of times before receiving feedback in order to increase communication reliability. A first UE may communicate a sidelink communication with a second UE using a resource mapping or repetitions of the sidelink communication.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing control channel monitoring. In an aspect, a mobile device may receive a wakeup signal including an indication of one or more groups of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search space sets. The mobile device may determine one or more PDCCH monitoring times based on the indication of the one or more groups of PDCCH search space sets. The mobile device may monitor the PDCCH during the determined one or more PDCCH monitoring times. In another aspect, a network element may configure two or more groups of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search space sets among the plurality of mobile devices and transmit a wakeup signal indicating to the plurality of mobile devices which of the two groups of PDCCH search space sets to which each mobile device of the plurality of mobile devices belongs.
