Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for inter-donor topology discovery in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network during migration of an IAB-node. A method that may be performed by a first IAB-donor includes establishing a first signaling connection with an IAB-node, receiving an indication that the IAB-node has a second signaling connection with a second IAB-donor, and in response to receiving the indication: transferring, to the second IAB-donor, information related to the IAB-node, re-establishing traffic between the first IAB-donor and the IAB-node via a topology of the second IAB-donor, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive channel state information (CSI) measurement resource (CMR) configurations for a first set of reference signals indicated to be associated with a first beam group and a second set of reference signals indicated to be associated with a second beam group. The UE may transmit a CSI report indicating a set of beams that includes a first beam associated with the first beam group and a second beam associated with the second beam group. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for a wireless node to receive a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) transmitted inside a downlink random access channel (RACH) message. The wireless node may receive a downlink RACH message that includes a PTRS based on an indication received in a downlink RACH message or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) associated with a downlink RACH message. In some aspects, the wireless node may utilize the PTRS for phase error correction or frequency error correction (such as frequency error caused by Doppler effects). This disclosure also provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for a component of a base station to provide an indication that a PTRS is included in a downlink RACH message. The indication may be provided in a downlink RACH message or a PDCCH associated with a downlink RACH message.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a base station may determine a transmit power to be used by a downstream node or an amplification gain to be used by the downstream node when relaying or repeating messages to a target node. The base station may transmit, to the downstream node, a message intended for the target node, the message having an indicated transmit power, wherein the message intended for the target node is transmitted by the base station using an actual transmit power. In some aspects, the indicated transmit power is the transmit power to be used by the downstream node, so that when the message intended for the target node is repeated by the downstream node, the indicated transmit power of the repeated message matches the actual transmit power of the repeated message.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may select a communication configuration for use with a repeater wireless node that is using a power detection procedure; and transmit a signal, to the repeater wireless node and to be forwarded by the repeater wireless node to a target wireless node, in accordance with the communication configuration selected for use with the repeater wireless node that is using the power detection procedure. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, at least one reference signal associated with at least one beam. The UE may generate a beam failure indicator (BFI) based at least in part on one or more measurements of the at least one reference signal at the UE. The BFI may be selected (e.g., by the UE or by the base station) from two or more types of BFI based at least in part on one or more measurements associated with the at least one beam at the base station. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Techniques for partial configuration of an autonomously smart repeater may allow a control entity (e.g., base station, UE, or cloud software/algorithm) to configure the autonomously smart repeater and thereby improve end-to-end performance for some communications. In an example, a relay device may receive, from a first entity, an indication for reconfiguring a parameter corresponding to an autonomous reconfiguration procedure of the relay device. The relay device may configure a setting of the autonomous reconfiguration procedure according to the parameter. The relay device may forward a signal between a first wireless device and a second wireless device based on the configuring.

Abstract: A first wireless communication device, such as a base station, may include separate transmit and receive antenna arrays. The separation between the transmit and receive antenna arrays may cause a direction of a transmit beam formed at the transmit antenna array to be different from a direction of a receive beam formed at the receive antenna array. The transmit and receive beams may be formed for communication with a second wireless communication device, such as a user equipment (UE). The described aspects enable the first wireless communication device to monitor a difference between a first direction of the transmit beam and a second direction of the receive beam. The first wireless communication device may transmit an indication of a beam correspondence failure to the second wireless communication device when the difference between the first and second directions is greater than or equal to a beam correspondence threshold.
