    摘要: Solutions to problems from delays in channel acquisition by UEs in a contention-based shared radio frequency spectrum band are disclosed. For example, if an eNB knows of a recent or ongoing downlink transmission on a frequency to be used for uplink transmission by a UE, then the eNB may instruct the UE to either skip performance of LBT on that frequency or else perform a type of LBT that is shorter in duration than a full CCA. One way for the eNB to instruct the UE in this fashion is to set an indicator in an uplink grant transmitted to the UE on another frequency. Additionally, in order to avoid truncation of an uplink transmission opportunity, an eNB may notify a UE that an uplink grant is valid for more than one starting point.

    摘要: An apparatus is configured to transmit at least one first random access request by using a first preamble to a first handover target cell or to a first beam provided by a serving cell. If the first random access request is responded, the apparatus carries out a synchronization to the first handover target cell or to the first beam provided by the serving cell. If the first random access request is not responded, the apparatus transmits at least one second random access request by using at least one second preamble to at least one second handover target cell or to at least one second beam provided by the serving cell. The apparatus stores information on not-responded first or second random access requests or resources not used for random access requests, wherein the information comprises preambles used. The apparatus transmits, after being synchronized, the stored information to either the first handover target cell, the at least one second handover target cell or the serving cell for being used in random access resource allocation.

    摘要: It is an object to provide a procedure for handling failure of a subset of serving beam pair links in wireless radio communication. A client device is configured to monitor, independently, a link quality of each serving downlink (DL) beam pair link (BPL) of the client device; detect at least one failed DL BPL based on the monitoring, where the at least one failed DL BPL is a subset of the monitored serving DL BPLs; choose an uplink, UL, BPL, where the chosen UL BPL corresponds to an available serving DL BPL of the monitored serving DL BPLs; and transmit a beam report within a predetermined time period from the detection through a non-contention-based channel using the chosen UL BPL, where the beam report indicates the at least one failed DL BPL. A client device, a network device, methods and a computer program are included.

In some aspects, a recurring coordinated medium interval is defined in the time domain and associated with the wireless channel. The coordinated medium interval includes a first time period, which may be referred to as a common reservation window, and a second time period, which may be referred to as a scheduled medium access window. During the first time period, access points (APs) attempting to gain access to the wireless channel may transmit reservation signals to reserve one or more scheduled service periods within the second time period of the same coordinated medium interval. The scheduled service periods reserved by an individual AP may be used for UL/DL communications between that AP and its associated stations (STAs).

    摘要: A wireless network communications protocol to allow sharing transmit opportunities (TXOP) in the same basic service set (BSS), or an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) over at least one channel. Sharing offer and request information is exchanged with an access point (AP) station, which shares this with APs on overlapping BSSs. Information is exchanged between stations advertising that a coming TXOP is available to be shared, and identifying stations that are willing to join it. Resource unit (RU) distributions are determined for the participant stations to use in sharing the TXOP, while the AP of the OBSS performs scheduling and distribution of RUs for stations in the OBSS.
