The evaporative air cooling tower includes a housing defining an interior of the evaporative air cooling tower; a grill coupled to the housing and defining openings; a tank positioned adjacent to a bottom portion of the housing, wherein the tank is configured to receive and store liquid; a tray positioned adjacent to a top portion of the housing, wherein the tray is configured to receive and release the liquid; a hose in fluid communication with the tank and the tray; a pump configured to pump the liquid from the tank to the tray through the hose; a filter structure comprising a filter configured to receive the liquid from the tray; and a fan configured to draw air into the interior, wherein the air is cooled by the filter and directed out of the interior through the openings.

The air conditioner includes a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion device, and an indoor heat exchanger. The outdoor heat exchanger may include a plurality of unit channels into which a refrigerant channel is partitioned, and a separating device installed in each of the plurality of unit channels and configured to separate a liquid refrigerant component and a vapor refrigerant component in each of the plurality of unit channels in a heating operation. The air conditioner may further include a compressor suction channel connecting a heating-operation outlet of the outdoor heat exchanger and an inlet of the compressor, and a bypass pipe connecting the separating device and the compressor suction channel.

    摘要: A defrosting control method for a multi-split system is provided. A multi-split system comprises an outdoor unit and multiple indoor units. An expansion valve is provided on a connecting pipeline between each of the indoor units and the outdoor unit. When the expansion valve of each activated indoor unit is closed and the degree of opening of the expansion valve of each off-state indoor unit is less than or equal to a maximum set degree of opening, the system satisfies a defrosting requirement, and as a result the method controls the expansion valve of each activated indoor unit to remain closed, thereby resolving the issue of a dramatic temperature drop in a room having an activated indoor unit during defrosting and improving user satisfaction. The degree of opening of the expansion valve of a off-state indoor unit is Off_PLS, and is controlled such that Off_PLS=ALL_HP*Avg_PLS/Off_HP. The invention satisfies a defrosting requirement and reduces the degree of opening of the expansion valves as much as possible, thereby preventing damage to a compressor without affecting defrosting.

    摘要: The present application discloses a multi-split air conditioner and a control method thereof. The multi-split air conditioner includes a plurality of outdoor heat exchangers connected in parallel to a refrigerant main circulation passage, wherein a parallel branch in which each of the plurality of outdoor heat exchangers is located is provided with a branch control valve capable of controlling a flow rate of refrigerant flowing through the parallel branch. The control method includes: determining a current superheat degree of the multi-split air conditioner; when the current superheat degree of the multi-split air conditioner deviates from a set target superheat degree, controlling and regulating the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing through the branch control valve; and controlling and regulating the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing through the air supplement control valve according to the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing through each of branch control valves.

    摘要: Provided is an outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus having high reliability. A protective net disposed over an air inlet at a rear surface of a casing includes a frame body defining an outer periphery of the protective net, and a plurality of vertical bars and a plurality of horizontal bars crossing each other inside the frame body and defining a plurality of ventilation openings. Each horizontal bar has an upper surface having a downwardly open V-shape in vertical cross-section formed by combining a rear upper surface inclined downward and rearward and a front upper surfaced inclined downward and forward. When it snows, snow on the horizontal bar slides off a downward slope without freezing into ice on the horizontal bar. Accordingly, a reduction in an opening area of the ventilation openings due to ice does not occur.
