    Abstract: A heat exchanger includes heat exchange fins, refrigerant pipes are arranged across the heat exchange fins, and connecting pipes connected to the refrigerant pipes to thereby define refrigerant passages. The connecting pipes include a first pipe portion having a first end connected to one of the refrigerant pipes, a branch pipe portion that is branched from the first pipe portion, that extends parallel to the first pipe portion, and that is connected to another of the refrigerant passages, and a second pipe that is connected to the first pipe portion and that is configured to guide gas-phase refrigerant separated from the refrigerant in the first pipe portion. The second pipe includes an inner insert portion inserted into a second end of the first pipe portion and an outlet portion that extends from the inner insert portion in direction opposite to the second end of the first pipe portion.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a lighting apparatus which may include a heat sink, a light emitting device including a substrate mounted on the heat sink and LEDs arranged on the substrate, a bulb surrounding the light emitting device, an electronic module received within the heat sink to supply power to the light emitting device, a case provided to surround the electronic module, the case being configured to be inserted into the heat sink, a communication module separably coupled to the electronic module, and a power socket electrically connected to the electronic module, the power socket being mounted to the case. The communication module may include a housing, a circuit board provided in the housing. The circuit board may be electrically connected to the electronic module, and a wireless communication device may be provided on the circuit board.

    Abstract: Provided is an air conditioner capable of improving heating performance in a cold region by reducing a refrigerant pressure loss in an outdoor heat exchanger in a heating operation. The air conditioner includes a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion device, and an indoor heat exchanger. The outdoor heat exchanger may include a plurality of unit channels into which a refrigerant channel is partitioned, and a separating device installed in each of the plurality of unit channels and configured to separate a liquid refrigerant component and a vapor refrigerant component in each of the plurality of unit channels in a heating operation. The air conditioner may further include a compressor suction channel connecting a heating-operation outlet of the outdoor heat exchanger and an inlet of the compressor, and a bypass pipe connecting the separating device and the compressor suction channel.

    Abstract: An air conditioner includes a heat exchanger including a plurality of refrigerant tubes, a distributor disposed on one side of the heat exchanger to divide a refrigerant so that the refrigerant flows into a plurality of flow paths, a plurality of capillary tubes extending from the distributor toward the plurality of refrigerant tubes, a guide tube guiding an introduction of the refrigerant into the distributor, an inlet tube connected to an inlet-side of the distributor, and a bending part disposed between the guide tube and the inlet tube to switch a flow direction of the refrigerant. The inlet tube extends in a horizontal direction or an inclined direction to guide a liquid refrigerant of a two-phase liquid refrigerant so that the liquid refrigerant flows into a lower portion of the inlet tube.
