An articulated arm comprises first and second coplanar members comprising first and second toothed portions meshed with one another and separated by an intermediate piece to which each member is connected by a first, second pivot connection from first, second axes, the intermediate piece being monobloc and having a central body integral with a first and a second shaft defining the first and second axes, the first and second shafts being separated by an opening through the central body and able to allow the passage of a cable kept away from the first and second toothed portions by the closed outline of the opening.
Abstract:
A mounting device for mounting a cable or a line on a structural component of an aircraft or spacecraft. The mounting device comprises at least two parts, one of these parts being configured as an attachment part and being provided to be attached to the structural component. The other part is configured as a receiving part and is provided to receive a portion of the cable or of the line. Both parts can be coupled together by means of at least a first ball-and-socket joint. This coupling is configured such that the two parts can be brought into a plurality of spatial positions relative to one another. Also provided is an aircraft or spacecraft, in particular an aircraft, which has a structural component and a cable or a line which is mounted on the structural component by a mounting device of this type.
Abstract:
A supply line routing device is described, for routing supply lines between connection points on components which are movable relative to each other, and having a sheathing with a changeable course. The supply line routing device comprises at least one guide channel for a supply line in the interior of the sheathing; and a plurality of retaining elements disposed in succession in the longitudinal direction of the sheathing on the outside thereof, which are configured to fasten at least one additional supply line to the outside of the sheathing.
Abstract:
A power feeding wiring structure includes a protection tube for wires, a slide door side fixing device adapted to fix one end of the protection tube, and a vehicle body side fixing device adapted to fix the other end of the protection tube. The slide door side fixing device includes a restricting portion for restricting a moving range of the protection tube by being pivoted about a rotary shaft, and a biasing portion for rotating the restricting portion in a biasing direction. A center line along a length direction of the restricting portion is located in an area at a front side in the biasing direction with respect to a first plane defined by the position of a leading end of the restricting portion and the rotary shaft, whereby the leading end of the restricting portion projects out from the slide door when the slide door is opened and closed.
Abstract:
There is provided an articulated cable protection and guide apparatus that can securely and stably guide a large number of cables, can assure durability of articulated supporting members that operate between straight and bending postures for a long period of time, and can be easily disassembled and assembled at a machine frame-side stationary end-side connector unit or at a moving end-side connector unit. The articulated cable protection and guide apparatus comprises: a stationary end-side connector unit for affixing each stationary end of articulated supporting members, cables and a flexible belt member integrally to a machine frame-side stationary end area; a moving end-side connector unit for affixing each moving end of the articulated supporting members, cables and a flexible belt member integrally to a movable-side moving end area.
Abstract:
An apparatus for flexibly restraining service loops in an oil derrick to prevent entangling of the loops, comprising a plurality of identical apparatus wherein each apparatus is positioned at different longitudinal level to restrain the service loops. Each apparatus is comprised of a plurality of interlocking units, wherein each unit is comprised of a central steel ring which is adhesively bonded to a braid of a service loop penetrating therethrough and exteriorly affixed to first and second interconnecting rings. A first flexible cable and second flexible cable connect the respective first and second interconnecting rings of the units of each apparatus. Therefore, the service loops are flexibly restrained to have a uniform path and bend radius when they travel longitudinally during operation of an oil well drilling machine, which results in reduction of damage of the service loops.
Abstract:
An adjustable, channel-mount system for mounting a sign to a shelf includes a spring-loaded mounting bracket having a mounting portion moveably connected to a sign-holding portion and an elongated sign-holder. The sign-holding portion of the mounting bracket features at least one channel. At least one securing element configured for engagement with the at least one channel of the sign-holding portion of the mounting bracket is included on a back surface of the sign-holder.
Abstract:
A power supply device for a sliding door comprising an extra-length absorbing unit, a door side fixing unit fixed to a sliding door, a flexible tube extending from said extra-length absorbing unit to said door side fixing unit, and a wire harness wired from a vehicle body through said extra-length absorbing unit, said flexible tube and said door side fixing unit to the sliding door, wherein said extra-length absorbing unit includes a case having a gate for said flexible tube, a rotating drum for winding said flexible tube in the case, and a torsion spring for providing a turning force with said rotating drum in a winding direction of said flexible tube, an end portion at the vehicle body of said flexible tube being fixed on the rotating drum, a portion at the vehicle side of said wire harness being fixed to the rotating drum in a vicinity of the end portion of said flexible tube, said flexible tube being wound in spiral within the rotating drum, a spiral inner peripheral portion thereof being fixed to a center portion of the case, and said flexible tube being pulled out of the case through the gate, said door side fixing unit holds a sliding door side end portion of said flexible tube, a sliding door side portion of said wire harness being pulled out of the end portion of the flexible tube into the sliding door, and said extra-length absorbing unit is fixed to the vehicle body so as to be located in an intermediate position of a moving range of the door side fixing unit by an opening and closing movements of the sliding door, said flexible tube being provided with a tensile force by the turning force of the rotating drum from the extra-length absorbing unit to said door side fixing unit.
Abstract:
Hydraulic hoses coupled between the tractor and trailer units of an articulated vehicle are connected to each of the units by a swivel joint to permit the hydraulic hoses to swivel at the point of connection to the respective tractor and trailer units. The hydraulic hoses are individually positioned within separators to separate the hydraulic hoses and position them in a predetermined manner relative to forming a hose bundle. Each of the hydraulic hose supporting separators is positioned on a steel spring bow to control the shape of the hose bundle, with each end of the spring bow terminating in a coil spring at the point of connection with the tractor and trailer units. A support frame, preferably joined to the trailer unit, retains the hose bundle in a predetermined position to provide vertical stability and a spiral plastic or rubber outer wrap encircles the hose bundle to protect and keep the bundle together. In this manner, the hydraulic hoses are protected, and can accommodate the relative articulation and roll between the tractor and trailer units while the positioning of the bundles is controlled to eliminate or minimize any twisting action imposed thereon.
