Abstract: A projection device is disclosed. The projection device includes an air inlet, an air outlet, an optical engine, a heat sink, a fan and a combiner. A first passage is arranged between the air inlet and the air outlet for passing an air flow. The optical engine includes a light source and an imaging lens set outputting a projection light beam. The heat sink is connected to the optical engine, and a part of the heat sink is arranged in the first passage. The fan is arranged in the first passage. The combiner receives the projection light beam. The projection light beam moves in a propagating direction opposite to the entry direction.

Abstract: An illumination system including at least one light source, a reflection cover, a wavelength conversion element, and a filter element is provided. A focal point of the reflection cover is disposed on an extension line of a transmission path of an excitation beam provided by the light source, and an opening of the reflection cover is adjacent to the focal point. The wavelength conversion element penetrates through the opening, and has a light-action region. The light-action region is disposed on the transmission path of the excitation beam, and converts the excitation beam into a conversion beam. The reflection cover is disposed on a transmission path of the conversion beam. The filter element is disposed on a transmission path of the conversion beam from the reflection cover. The conversion beam from the reflection cover is obliquely incident to the filter element, and the filter element filters the conversion beam.

Abstract: A projector according to the invention includes a discharge lamp, a cooling section, and a control section. The control section is configured to execute a first cooling control in which a number of revolutions of the cooling section does not depend on an inter-electrode voltage of the discharge lamp and a second cooling control for controlling the cooling section based on first control information indicating a relation between the inter-electrode voltage and the number of revolutions. The number of revolutions in the first cooling control is equal to or smaller than the number of revolutions in the second cooling control. When the inter-electrode voltage is larger than a first voltage value or when a cumulative lighting time of the discharge lamp is larger than a first time, the control section configured to switch the control of the cooling section from the first cooling control to the second cooling control.

Abstract: A cooling device for an emitting module of a projector includes a base, a guiding portion installed on the base, and a latch portion installed on the base.
