摘要: Systems and methods according to one or more embodiments are provided for an imaging system having a plurality of sensors associated with input optics. In one example, an imaging system includes input optics configured to receive incident radiation along an input optical axis and a first optical sensor and a second optical sensor, each configured to detect the incident radiation. The imaging system further includes a rotating member positioned between the first and second optical sensors and configured to rotate about the input optical axis and a reflector coupled to the rotating member configured to be selectively positionable by the rotating member to a first orientation, in which the reflector directs the incident radiation along a first secondary axis to the first optical sensor, and to a second orientation, in which the reflector directs the incident radiation along a second secondary axis toward the second optical sensor.

摘要: Provided are external lens devices for a dual lens camera smart device. Generally, the external lens device comprises a lens holder, a plurality of lenses held within the lens holder and means for securing the lens holder over the dual lens camera smart device. Securing the lens holder to the dual lens camera may be effected by direct engagement of the lens holder with the dual lens camera or by a clip which when slid over the smart device positions the lens holder over the dual lens camera. Also provided are handheld camera systems with the dual lens camera smart device and the external lens device removably secured over the camera.

摘要: An optical zoom imaging system includes (1) first and second image sensors disposed on a common substrate, and (2) first and second optical blocks in optical communication with the first and second image sensors, respectively. The first and second optical blocks have different respective magnifications. An array includes a plurality of the optical zoom imaging systems. A method for imaging a scene includes the following steps: (1) generating first image data representing the scene at a first zoom level using a first optical block in optical communication with a first image sensor, (2) generating second image data representing the scene at a second zoom level using a second optical block in optical communication with a second image sensor, the second zoom level being different from the first zoom level, and (3) selecting between the first image data and the second image data based on a desired zoom level.
