    摘要: A spacer is provided that includes at least one rail of plastic, steel, rebar, or the like that runs along a top surface of a modular construction material such as a brick or block. At least one transverse rail is connected to the length-running rail. The transverse rail is also constructed of plastic, steel, rebar, or the like and runs width-wise along the top surface of the brick/block. Connected to the rails is a number of spacing studs that define a desired mortar depth. The spacing studs may include removable clips that are configured to engage the rails. Accordingly, the clips have a height equal to the desired mortar depth. The present invention may alternatively include a kit comprising the rails, clips, and bricks/blocks.

The body has inner and outer surfaces that are substantially complementary to one another to allow a plurality of chairs to be stacked together. The receiving area includes posts extending upwardly between notches. The posts define passageways for guiding the cables into the notches. Detents project inwardly from the tops of the posts and fixedly retain the bars within the passageways. The chair may be formed from a resilient polymeric material.

A coupling device according tot he invention may comprise two coupling components each having a first opening at a first end and a second second opening at a second end. The first component has a first abutment surface to limit the travel of a first reinforcement bar through the first component and the second component has a second abutment surface to limit the travel of a second reinforcement bar through the second component. A centering device structured and dimensioned to center each of the coupling components in a hollow block cell may also be provided.

    摘要: A sheet metal spring clip made from a resilient metal rectangular strip which is bent at various locations intermediate its top and bottom edges to cause sections of the clip to lie one above the other in a spaced relationship. The clip has a pair of connected elongated apertures each having unbroken walls normal to flat top and bottom surfaces, which walls serve as bearing surfaces at opposite sides of each of the two connected apertures for mounting of the clip preferably on a vertical support. Spaced handles similarly directed permit the resilient clip to be squeezed for positional alignment on the support. The clip further includes an edge slot in communication with a third elongated aperture, which aperture has similar walls and serves to provide bearing surfaces for retention of a bar normally disposed with respect to the support, after the clip has been positioned at a desired elevation.
