Abstract: A suction cup and hanger combination. The combination has suction cup with a flexible cup shaped member and mounting button or nub on one end thereof. A hanger having a hook at one end and mechanism at the other end for detachably mounting the hanger on the suction cup mounting button or nub. The hanger hook is laterally offset to position at least a portion of the hook substantially vertically under the suction cup mounting button or nub. The hook may have a bottom surface which is slanted to ensure that any ornament hung on the hook is vertically below the button or nub.

Abstract: A suction cup and integral fastening device for hanging ornaments or other decorative objects is disclosed. A tether extends outward from a neck portion of the suction cup. Stopping members and protuberances of various shapes and sizes on the tether permit the tether to be inserted into a suitable opening in the neck member and prevent it from being removed. Alternatively, a ribbed rivet can be provided on the unattached end of the tether. This rivet can be inserted into a ribbed bore provided in the neck member. The ribbed surfaces interact to securely fasten the unattached end of the tether to the suction cup.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding articles is disclosed in which a suction cup of the type having a neck extending from the back of the cup is provided. A central bore and a slot depending from the central bore are provided in the neck and receive a head portion of a hook device. Abstract: A picture hanger locator package is provided comprising a long cardboard backing strip mounting one or more picture hangers at one end. Adhesive areas are provided on the front and back faces of the backing strip and the package assembly may include a protective covering. The hook portion of each hanger is mounted on the mounting portion of a picture frame and the front adhesive area may be pressed against the picture frame so that it is held in a proper position relative to the frame as the frame is positioned against the wall. The elongated backing sheet projects above the picture frame and, after proper positioning of the picture in its desired location, the back adhesive area is pressed into firm engagement with the wall so that the hanger is adhered to the wall at its proper location. The picture frame is then removed from the hook and the hanger is securely fastened to the wall in a conventional manner. The backing member is removed both from the wall and from the hanger leaving the hanger in its accurately positioned location for receiving and supporting the picture frame.
