摘要:
The present disclosure provides a garment. The garment includes (a) a back panel, (b) a front panel including an openable seam, wherein the back panel and the front panel are coupled together and define a neck opening, a first arm opening, a second arm opening and a torso opening, (c) a first sleeve having a first end and a second end, the first end of the first sleeve coupled to the first arm opening, the first end of the first sleeve having a first plurality of elastic panels each covered by a scallop-shaped panel, and (d) a second sleeve having a first end and a second end, the first end of the second sleeve coupled to the second arm opening, the first end of the second sleeve having a second plurality of elastic panels each covered by a scallop-shaped panel.
摘要:
An article of apparel is disclosed that includes zones with a textile having a structure than changes or is otherwise modified by a physical stimulus, such as the presence of water or a temperature change, to modify a property of the textile. The zones may be along a center back area and/or side areas of the apparel, and the textile may increase in air permeability when exposed to water. In some embodiments, slits are formed in the textile.
摘要:
Aspects of the present invention relate to systems and methods of integrating dynamic materials into articles for adjustable physical characteristics (e.g., aesthetic, functional). For example, in response to a human's body heat, a dynamic material may change shape to allow additional permeability in an article of clothing. Similarly, in response to the presence of moisture, an article of clothing may close a vent to prevent the introduction of rain into an internal portion of the article. The shape changing material may change shape that merely affects a feature formed by the shape changing material. Additionally, it is contemplated that the shape changing material may change shape that affects a geometric structure of the article as a whole (e.g., protrusions, dimples, vents, etc.).

A dynamic vent-slit structure for a lower body article of apparel is provided. The article includes a pelvic portion for covering a pelvic area of a wearer when the article is in an as-worn position, and a plurality of slits in a repeating fashion, wherein a spacing between two adjacent slits in linear alignment is less than a length of a slit in non-linear alignment with the two slits and that is offset from the two slits such that the slit in non-linear alignment overlies the spacing between the slits in linear alignment, and the slit in non-linear alignment is parallel to the slits in linear alignment. The slits may be positioned in one or more groupings or aligned in different directions to open in response to different directions of stretch or movement, to provide dynamic or motion activated venting in the article.

The invention relates to a ventilation insert for ventilating textiles, shoes and soles of shoes, gloves, protective helmets and their visors, protective goggles, insulating mats, cushioning mats, knee pads and shin pads, headgear and similar articles. The invention proposes a ventilation insert in which an open-pored support layer (1) is provided with an open-pored cover (1.1, 10) or individual covering elements (2) which are at least partly composed of a material (3) which undergoes a swelling or shrinking effect on account of moisture, heat or an electrical voltage, or a material (3) of this type is connected to the support layer (1), the cover (1.1, 10) and/or the covering elements (2) or constitutes the support layer or cover in such a way that ventilation openings (5, 12) in the support layer (1) and/or in the cover (1.1, 10) are exposed or closed on account of the swelling or shrinking effect.

A ventilated jacket includes a front, a back, side portions, and sleeve portions. A vent system including a first vent, a second vent, and a third vent is disposed on each side portion. Each first vent extends from the side portion onto at least a portion of the corresponding sleeve and is movable between open and closed positions via a first fastening member. Each second vent is disposed in the side portion forward of the corresponding first vent and is movable between an open position and a closed position via a second fastening member. Each third vent is disposed in the side portion rearward of the corresponding first vent and is movable between an open position and a closed position via a third fastening member.

An outerwear clothing article is disclosed. The outerwear clothing article may have an outer shell and at least one vent forming a passage through the outer shell. The at least one vent may have a closure element movable between a first position at which flow through the vent is substantially unrestricted, and a second position at which flow through the vent is restricted by the closure element. The outerwear clothing article may also have a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a temperature inside the outer shell, and an actuator controllable to move the closure element between the first and second positions based on the signal.
