    Abstract: A method of adding a secondary cell group, a terminal device, and a main node are provided. The method of adding a secondary cell group includes: receiving conditional-addition SCG information sent by a master node; evaluating, according to the conditional-addition SCG information, whether one or more target cells in an SCG meet a condition corresponding to triggering addition of a target cell, and obtaining a result of the evaluation; triggering, according to the result of the evaluation, a process of adding a SCG target cell.
