Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a resource allocation indicating a plurality of transmission tones comprising a subset of data tones of a plurality of data tones and a subset of peak reduction tones (PRTs) of a plurality of PRTs, wherein the resource allocation indicates a plurality of data tone locations and a plurality of PRT locations within a particular bandwidth, wherein a subset of PRT locations of the plurality of PRT locations are arranged relative to a subset of data tone locations of the plurality of data tone locations according to a PRT sequence corresponding to a set of allocated frequency resources; and transmit a data transmission using a waveform based at least in part on the resource allocation. Abstract: Embodiments include methods for managing information transmission between a base station and a wireless device. A base station may apply an encoder neural network to assistance information that may aid a wireless device in communicating with the base station to generate encoded assistance information. The base station may transmit the encoded assistance information to the wireless device via a control or data channel. The wireless device may use the encoded assistance information to update one or more behaviors of the wireless device without decoding the encoded assistance information. The wireless device may include a different neural network configured to learn how to use the encoded assistance information to update one or more behaviors of the wireless device.

Abstract: An apparatus may utilize an air interface to transmit and/or receive a transmission during a first TTI that includes a second set of data overriding a first set of data scheduled for transmission during the first TTI. The air interface may further be utilized to transmit and/or receive a transmission during one or more additional TTIs that includes a third set of data in a data portion of a subframe, and an override indicator that is at least partially embedded in the data portion. The override indicator may be configured to indicate that the first set of data scheduled for transmission during the first TTI is overridden by the second set of data having the higher priority. The override indicator may be transmitted after the second set of data is transmitted. The one or more additional TTIs may be after the first TTI.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for coordinated sidelink power savings configurations. A wireless node may select a sidelink power savings configuration to use for a sidelink between the wireless node and a user equipment (UE), provide the selected configuration to the UE, and follow the configuration for the sidelink. The selection may be based on input from the UE or without input from the UE. The selection may be a current power savings configuration at the wireless node, a power savings configuration suggest by the UE, or a different power savings configuration determined by the wireless node based on the current and suggested power savings configuration. When a new UE connects to the wireless node, the wireless node may reselect a power savings configuration to use for the sidelinks and provide the reselected power savings configuration to the UEs having a sidelink with the wireless node.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes various aspects of the implementation and design of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in 5G new radio (NR) applications. Aspects include methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for one or more of multiple PDCCH search spaces, control resource block (CRB), irregular multiple slots or mini-slots grants, or fast control channel signaling for grant-free uplink (UL). For example, different scheduling entities can each have one or two search spaces defined (e.g., common and/or user equipment (UE)-centric search spaces). Also, CRBs can be used as units for PDCCH transmission instead of resource element groups/control channel elements (REGs/CCEs). In addition, irregularities in time domain, frequency domain, or both can be introduced in the granting of resource blocks (RBs) over multiple slots or mini-slots. Moreover, signaling can be used to indicate to a UE configured for grant-free UL the portion of the pool of resources available for grant-free UL.

The method generally includes generating DCI, the DCI scheduling at least one transmission, according to a first DCI format. The first DCI format is compressed relative to a second DCI format and includes a carrier indicator field (CIF) and/or a rate-matching indicator field. Abstract: Control channel decoding can consume a significant amount of power with respect to the device's total power battery lifetime, as well as being a factor in the complexity of device. Aspects of a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are presented herein that provide a solution to the problem of control channel decoding complexity and power requirements by improving the manner in which control channels are decoded. An apparatus configures an initial CORESET having a reduced bandwidth corresponding to a bandwidth capability of a first UE type. The reduced bandwidth having a narrower frequency range than a bandwidth capability of a second UE type. The apparatus may configure a first CORESET for a first UE having a first bandwidth capability and a second CORESET for a second UE having a second bandwidth capability. The apparatus transmits control channel(s) in the configured CORESET(s).
