    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. The apparatus can receive SSB grouping information associated with one or more SSB groups, each of the one or more SSB groups including one or more TRPs. The apparatus can also receive at least one of TCI information or QCL information, each of the TCI information and the QCL information indicating an SSB of the one or more SSB groups that is associated with a downlink Tx beam for downlink data or an uplink Rx beam for uplink data. Additionally, the apparatus can communicate the downlink data from or the uplink data to TRPs in a same SSB group or TRPs in different SSB groups based on at least one of the SSB grouping information, the TCI information, or the QCL information.

    Abstract: A configuration for configuring and updating the spatial relationship of multiple physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources in a single message, thereby reducing signaling overhead. A user equipment (UE) constructs a message associated with at least one of a plurality of component carriers (CCs) or a plurality of bandwidth parts (BWPs) indicating a same spatial relation for the at least one of the plurality of CCs or the plurality of BWPs. The UE transmits the message to a base station. The base station transmits a message to the UE configuring multiple spatial parameters for the at least one of the plurality of CCs, the plurality of BWPs, or a plurality of uplink/downlink resources.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam failure detection and related timing determinations, such as for applying a default beam after beam failure recovery response (BFRR) message. A method by a user equipment (UE) may include detecting failure of a beam associated with a first cell. The detecting can include performing beam failure detection (BFD) of a beam pair link (BPL) associated with the first cell (e.g., secondary cell (Scell)). The first cell can be in carrier aggregation (CA) with a second cell. The UE may send a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) message on a second cell (e.g., a primary cell (Pcell)). The BFRQ message can include a candidate recovery beam for the first cell. The UE can receive a BFRR message on the second cell and determine a duration from reception of the BFRR message until using a default beam for communications on the first cell.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits capability information to a base station indicating a first number of active transmission configuration indication (TCI) states or active spatial relations supported by the UE per group of bandwidth parts (BWPs) or per group of component carriers (CCs) for use in receiving control information or data. The UE receives, from the base station, a configuration of a second number of active TCI states or active spatial relations for the group of BWPs or the group of CCs that is limited to be less than or equal to the first number of active TCI states or active spatial relations supported by the UE. The UE monitors for downlink communication based on the second number of active TCI states. The UE uses the active spatial relations for uplink transmissions.
