Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for allocating resources for environment sensing. In an aspect, a base station transmits a first radar reference signal (RRS) on a first set of resources comprising first time resources, first frequency resources, first spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the first set of resources is selected to enable a first user equipment (UE) to perform a first type of environment sensing, and transmits a second RRS on a second set of resources comprising second time resources, second frequency resources, second spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the second set of resources is selected to enable a second UE to perform a second type of environment sensing, wherein the second set of resources is different from the first set of resources, and wherein the second type of environment sensing is different from the first type of environment sensing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability to receive a first portion of a tracking reference signal (TRS) and a second portion of the TRS, the first portion and the second portion associated with a TRS pattern. Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to mechanisms for transmitting and receiving reference signals in a high-speed train (HST) single frequency network (SFN). A base station (BS) determines a first frequency pre-compensation value for a reference signal transmitted via a first transmission and reception point (TRP) and a second frequency pre-compensation value for a reference signal via a second TRP. The BS notifies a user equipment (UE) of the first and second pre-compensation values through at least one of the TRPs. The BS applies the first pre-compensation value to the reference signal via the first TRP and the second pre-compensation value to the reference signal via the second TRP. The UE adjusts its tracking loop for the reference signal based on the pre-compensation values, reducing estimation and/or search overhead at the UE.

Abstract: One innovative aspect of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be implemented in a method for wireless communication. The method includes determining a configuration of reference signal (RS) resources to be used by a user-equipment (UE) to perform beam measurements, transmitting, to the UE, an indication of the configuration of the RS resources, and receiving, from the UE, a report indicating a plurality of RS resource indicators based on the beam measurements, each of the RS resource indicators being associated with one of the RS resources. In some aspects, the BS selects a subset of the RS resources based on the report from the UE, transmits, to the UE, an indication to provide channel measurement information for the subset of the RS resources, and receives a report including the channel measurement information from the UE. The BS may also perform joint precoding of signals for transmission via the RS resources based on the channel measurement information.
