    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for assigning one or more user equipments (UEs) at one or more corresponding starting positions of multiple slots to perform channel access procedures, such as listen before talk (LBT) procedures in New Radio unlicensed band (NR-U) sidelink communications. The network entity may indicate, to a UE, a starting position in a multi-opportunity grant (e.g., a DCI scheduling multiple slots). The network entity may multiplex different transmitter UEs with different starting positions. If the channel accessing procedure is successful, the transmitter UE with the earliest starting position than the rest may block the rest of the transmitter UEs. In some cases, starting position hopping may be used so that the multiple UEs may have different priority at different slots. In some cases, the DCI may include LBT parameters that are inherited from NR-U uplink transmission configurations.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to sidelink transmissions. In an example, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a first sidelink grant for a transmission between the first UE and a second UE; communicate the transmission according to the first sidelink grant to the second UE; determine initiation of a sidelink round trip timer subsequent to communicating the transmission to the second UE; and initiate an inactive mode for the first UE based on a second grant not being received from the network entity before completion of a duration of a sidelink retransmission timer that was initiated upon completion of a duration of the sidelink round trip timer, the first UE being configured out of an ON duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle, and an inactivity timer expiring before completion of the duration of the sidelink retransmission timer.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform radio link monitoring (RLM) reference signal measurements on a primary secondary cell (PSCell) while the UE is operating in a secondary cell group (SCG) deactivated state. The UE may perform beam failure detection (BFD) reference signal measurements while the UE is operating in the SCG deactivated state. The UE may transmit, to a master node associated with a master cell group (MCG), an SCG failure information message based at least in part on one of: a PSCell radio link failure (RLF) detection based at least in part on the RLM reference signal measurements, or a BFD based at least in part on the BFD reference signal measurements.     Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for a resource pool configuration for multiple bits physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) are described. An example technique includes receiving a plurality of transmissions from a user equipment (UE) on a plurality of sidelink subchannels. At least one resource set for transmitting feedback corresponding to the plurality of transmissions is determined, based on at least one of the plurality of transmissions. Feedback corresponding to the plurality of transmissions is transmitted using the at least one resource set. Another example technique includes sending a plurality of transmissions to a UE on a plurality of sidelink subchannels and monitoring for feedback corresponding to the plurality of transmissions, based on a codebook size associated with the feedback.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for providing feedback about radio link failure (RLF) events that includes information about directional beams. A user equipment (UE) may experience an RLF event and lose connectivity with a network. After the UE reestablish a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the network, the UE may transmit an RLF report that include information about directional beams, information about a master node and a secondary node in a dual-connectivity procedure, information associated conditional handover procedures, or information about service time interruptions, or a combination thereof. One or more base stations may be configured to transmit at least portions of the information in the RLF report to other base stations as part of a message that may be an example of an RLF indication or a handover report. The message may be transmitted over an X2 interface or an Xn interface.

The method generally includes determining one or more sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) configurations associated with at least a communication on a sidelink, determining a wake up indication configuration associated with the one or more sidelink DRX configurations, monitoring for at least one wake up indication from at least one other UE based on the wake up indication configuration, the at least one wake up indication indicating a sidelink DRX on phase associated with the sidelink DRX configuration, deciding an action for the sidelink DRX on phase based on the at least one wake up indication for the at least one communication on the sidelink, and performing the action in accordance with the decision.
